  3. Yep. Patience has its virtue.....plus it’s a good unit so needed to go to a good place...at a good price...in its own time!
  4. Now sold. All lookers can now rest and get to practicing😉 much thanks
  5. Well spotted! Forgot to edit the post...I'll do so now I don't know the brand but it is probably the best build of the lot (IMO). Heavy and solid

  7. Honestly just saw this.. Thanks for the swap offer. But not doing swaps at the moment. Good luck.
  8. Fretted 5 string bass from a well reputed company in Japan. Previous owner did a bit of mods. If interested, get in touch and I’ll do my best to explain or see photos. Ebony board and lovely body (Ash I believe) in clear finish (usually with me higher models). Plays evenly and smoothly, in passive with switching on the Musicman pup to single coil (neck/bridge) or series/parallel and blend with the jazz pup. Very versatile setup for lots of tonal adventure and genres/styles. Set up low and encourages fast licks (😉) but has great growl and body of tone. I’m a huge Yamaha fan and these come pretty close I think... Collection is not ideal (Aylesbury) but possible I guess. Buyer arranged courier is also possible at the usual risks. (I’ll pack securely as I do love basses somehow). Note: no gig bag

  9. NOW SOLD in record time!! Thanks Taken from a Yamaha BB605 active bass. This is reputed to be the Nathan East NE-1 active preamp. Good knobs x5 and battery clip included. Reason for sale is that the bass was modded with new (and additional) pickups with a complete different system of EQ and switching. Hence this was not being used. It’s in very good condition price is plus postage/secure packing to the UK (maybe a fiver?)
  10. Tuners for a double bass. I bought these and never fitted them so they are as new. I decided I want to get individual ones. Paid just over £40 How’s £30 posted to the UK?
  11. Ha, ha....the post ‘busy bodies’ brigade! Knew I’d catch some...well done lads!! Get to practicing!!!
  12. Jedson 4 string fretted short scale bass (24.5”). Japanese I believe. Rosewood fingerboard on bolt-on Mahogany neck and 21 frets, two pickups, volume/tone controls in passive electronics with pickup on/off switches. Adjustable string height and spacing on roller bridge. This would suit juniors, beginners, small hands, hobbyists, collectors or even pros (short scale tone). Notes: fingerboard/fret damage to one fret which I managed to sort. Looks ok now (look at pics) and plays well. This is from the 60/70’s so has a few playing marks but otherwise in good condition. Included is a light gig bag. Collection from Aylesbury, Bucks preferred or buyer arranged courier.
  13. I’m selling this beauty as it just does not get played (and I need the dosh -). Schecter Diamond Series 5 string Deluxe fretted: Black body, Rosewood fingerboard on 35” scale maple neck, black hardware (Status tuners), Humbucker dual coils pickups (x2) passive electronics with: blend, tone, neck pu with series/parallel push-pull switch, bridge pu with series/parallel/single coil on a 4 way switch. I’ve set it up nicely and it plays like butter but could do with your choice of new strings. The 35” scale really helps the B string ring with solid lows. The clever switching allows a lot of tonal variations on the bass before pre-amps it amps. Note: gig bag included!! Collected from Aylesbury best...cash is king but other options considered. Feel free to contact for more info cheers
  14. Kinda disagree about it being rubbish.... if set up right, you can get some nice ‘short-scale’ tone from these. I have one that I’m now parting with (not a reason for my reply)and I enjoyed it when the playability part of it was sorted. Just thought that I’d defend them a bit.... My belief is anything (within reason😉) can be sorted with a bit of thought and TLC. Don’t shoot me😇
  15. Found a replacement (still not saying....adding to the suspense:-).
  16. Ok....closest to £500 gets this beautiful specimen...
