  1. Much appreciated! Hopefully it does happen (then you can have a coffee on me😇)🤞🏾
  2. I hear ya! Raise the volume even more😂 It’s waiting on its new owner impatiently😉
  3. Sold one of the 2x10 metal grill to a very happy fellow bassist. His words: “…can sounded great! Must admit I was pleasantly surprised and impressed” Still have a few….😉 ps: used two of my mates’ cabs as front of house PA tops (as the PA guy blew his just before the gig). They surprised him as well as they performed and handled fantastically good! Pic added!!
  4. Finn Zeferino-Birchall Decent player indeed
  5. Checking the bridge… Dimensions (L W D) including string spacing? cheers
  6. (NOW SOLD) Bought this ‘Italian Jazz’ as it looks & sounds (and could be proper decent) as a cheapie project, with a bit of attention. Got something I prefer coming in soon and can’t keep both (damn I shoulda been patient) so shifting at a loss. Sounds great but has a few obvious things. *Body in great condition. Not sure of the weight but I would say it’s not one of those ‘hernia’ things. Just right in my opinion. *Pickups sound great. Proper jazz bass vibe, Jaco, slap etc… *Original tuners and bridge were dreadful so changed to solid/reliable units. * Neck in good condition but upper frets could do with a dress as a bit of buzz going on. * No case and I’ll include the original pickup and bridge covers. (Vintage looking things) Collection from Aylesbury or postage at cost.
  7. Hi all, I inherited this Framus from an old friend and mentor who recently died. RIP It’s full of history and has done some important albums within my Caribbean cultural background. It was probably neglected due to him not being able to play in his latter years and seems to be attacked by moisture among other things. Obvious problems include: *fingerboard has become unstuck from the neck/body *body wood split/broken (seems like plywood layers) *metal parts corroded (not too fussed about that but I would like to improve if possible) *Missing the body support (I’ll contact Warwick about this) My hope is to restore it to look and play as close as possible to its former glory. I would appreciate and advice help on this including recommendations for people that could do a great job! 🤞🏾 Many thanks guys.
  8. …saying that…I don’t have a 4 string fretted in my collection…. I’ll edit for a trade (and contradict myself in the process😂)
  9. Yeah……bemused. I’m not too fussed as I don’t want someone to buy it and not use for GAS sake. Hopefully it would go to the right person and be used at it should🤞🏾 I just need to make space and recover a bit in the process.
  10. Preach on brother! It’s a real thing….sadly🤯😖😔 (But cheers for that👍🏾)
  11. [NOW SOLD] Lovely 2010 Bryant handmade British double bass. This is one of his top models and thus more costly than his other models. Serial number 91. John Lott flat back model 3/4 size Scale length 41.25”/105cm Back wood English Sycamore. Front wood is medium grained Alpine spruce. Neck is high grade Ebony (as are the nut and tailpiece). Beautiful tuning machines (Baker Model) and tail-pin complete this lovely instrument. It’s in great condition and has been well looked after/maintained/set up by the great Laurence Dixon. He put some lovey ebony ‘feet’ on the treble side to help prevent damaging the instrument when it’s laid on the side. The instrument is in Aylesbury, Bucks, UK. Feel free to ask for any further info.
