I have come across 3 complete sets of used DB strings following our recent house move. All have been enjoyed, wiped down after use and have been stored in their original packaging in our smoke-free house since I moved back to Spirocores in 2013. UPDATE - it seems I have mixed up the strings and the packaging - I have tried to clarify this below. My thanks to SubsonicSimpleton. £35 £25 - Innovation Silver Slap - from memory, these replaced the above in around 2011 and were also regularly gigged for a couple of years. These seem to be about £170 new. Shown with the Eurosonics packaging. Eurosonic Light - SOLD Innovation Golden Slap - SOLD The price for each set includes UK postage.

Having just bought a HX Stomp XL, it's time for this to go to a new home. I assume we all know what a Boss chorus pedal sounds like and this is a more versatile variant than some I have had over the years. It's in good condition and works well. I don't have the box or manual but it will be packed well. Price (now reduced to £40) includes UK postage.

MXR M81 bass pre-amp. Bought on here a few years ago as a spare for my SansAmp but hardly used. It has a few minor scuffs & scratches on the paintwork that were there when I got it but the device works perfectly. I don't have the original box but it will be well packaged. Price now reduced again to £70 including UK postage.

Here's a Diago pedal board measuring 49cm wide & 26cm deep. It has velcro all across the top with some discolouration on the lower part from velcro and gaffer tape that's been used (see photos). There are 4 small holes drilled in it to attach a pre-amp using cable ties. These don't impact its use and are not visible from the top. The board has six non-slip rubber feet and comes in its Diago bag with a zip pocket. Price includes UK postage.

I’ve recently moved to the Midlands so this is in the diary.

Great to see a Western Swing thread! My wife & I had a band doing this style 10+ years ago - The Red Jumps. This has brought back some happy memories. AATW rarely play the UK but are favorites of Mrs PTB. I managed to get front row seats at Nells in West London on our 30th wedding anniversary! -

I’m sure it was a regular “headed” Bass when I knew LC - or am I dreaming?? -
Keith bought my Acinonyx in a text book transaction - clear comms, prompt payment and a quick service station handover. He’s a first class BC’er.

I hope it doesn’t tell me that! Where would I put another five? 😂
-
I know…. Seeing as no one seems interested in buying it, perhaps I should take the hint and keep it?
-
Thanks BassAgent, very kind. I feel compelled to confess that I have already ruined it - the Acinonyx went to another BC’er this afternoon & the Sadowsky is up for sale on here…..

Here's my current collection: 1985 Stingray fretless - the only one I haven't bought via BC! Limelight Pino Sadowsky Metro Will Lee Nordstrand Acinonycx 1989 Stingray 4 MTD 535 2018 Stingray Special 5 It's too many really but.........

FURTHER FINAL PRICE REDUCTION - NOW £1,625 I can hardly believe I'm writing this as this has been a mainstay of my rig for many years but post-lockdown, I find myself in different bands favouring different sounds from before. Having just bought a couple of lovely Stingrays, I really do need to downsize.......but I might be tempted to a trade (partial or whole) for a good 60's style P bass - Fender, Lakland, Limelight & Moollon all appeal - with cash balance if needed. This is the signature bass of the great Will Lee, top NY session player and bassist on the US prime-time chat show, Late Night with Letterman for 20+ years. It's made in Sadowsky's Japanese workshop and it differs from a regular Sadowsky Jazz in the following ways: Sleek undersized body shape with different cutaway shape 22 fret neck Hipshot D-tuner Thicker headstock and graphite strips to reduce dead spots and create a more even response 1.45" nut width - narrower than usual Custom Will Lee version of the legendary Sadowsky preamp with on/off mid-boost; choice of 500Hz or 800Hz, wide or narrow bandwidth It weighs a very comfortable 8lb 12oz, is strung with nearly-new D'Addario ProSteels and comes with the usual Sadowsky case and paperwork. Condition is mostly very good except for some "rash" on the side of the bass between the jack socket and strap button plus a small ding on the underside of the headstock and a thin but not deep scratch on the side of the bass that faces upwards when playing and is hidden under the player's forearm. None of these are visible from the front and I've tried to show all three in the photos here. Happy to show more photos if anyone wants something specific. Collection from South Croydon or a meet-up not too far away is fine. I'm happy to ship the bass but the buyer should arrange their own courier to collect from me.

NOW £90 + shipping This is a great tube compressor but I'm downsizing my pedal board so this is now for sale. It's one of the few that uses the tube to compress your signal. Rather than have me inexpertly ramble on, may I suggest you read the review by compressor-guru Ovnilab http://www.ovnilab.com/reviews/markbass.shtml The unit is in excellent condition, in its original box and comes with the original power supply. Collection welcome from South Croydon or a meet-up not too far away or I can post at the buyer's expense.
