  1. Hi, Just purchased an Ash ABM 300 and noticed it has the same power section as my ABM 500. Is this usual?
  2. Of course not. 😄 I don't have experience (keep my fingers crossed I never will), but that's what I would do if my equipment got stolen. Private detectives (well, most of them) have their own sources and networks which often work better than police investigations. Going public makes things even hotter then they already are, so thieves more likely hide them away.
  3. Hiring a local private detective is a way better option then go public on social media...
  4. The same question regarding bitsa P...
  5. Buying a Korg stage piano from Alan turned out to be one of the best deals I've ever made! Thank you very much, Alan!
  6. cash offers welcome
  7. Yes, indeed! I think it's called METAL FLAKE GREEN
  8. For sale a beautiful Sterling (photos just don't do justice to this amazing colour), made in 2000, very playable, not too heavy (4,350 kg) for a bass made of one piece maple neck and ash body. It has usual superficial wear for a 18 years old girl, all caught on photos. Some frets show a tiny bit of wear too, but nothing in particular, nothing to worry about. It's perfectly setupable, truss rod works extremely well - even a tiny fragment of a turn effects the neck curvature immediately. The action goes pretty low without any buzzing. The neck has very dense wood grain, totally parallel to fretboard - for those who are into such things. Bass is located in Slovenia, the price includes shipping to EU (including UK) in a generic hardcase. Tradewise I'm not after anything at the moment, MAYBE you could try me with some Precision with lots of mojo 😉
  9. Would you consider any trades?
  10. Me first! :-) Still waiting for the seller to reply... Hope he's OK
  11. PM'd
  12. Last week I bought a cheapo Precision, a '57 RI CIJ lookalike which turned into a big mystery for me. At the start I was sure it's a replica, but now I'm not so sure anymore. The body has a beautiful trans white finish with nice ash grain visible underneath. It came with heavily modified neck pocket because one of the prevoius owners got it routed for another neck, then the seller modified it back to fit the original neck. At least that's what he told me. The neck overall looks very similar to the real thing, except for it's way too shallow, Fender logo is misplaced, CIJ logo and heel date stamp look strange, truss rod nut is positioned too close to the fretboard, serial number is barely visible. Is there any chance it could be a real CIJ Fender??? Was the japanese production in those years so inconsistent? Does any of you own a similar bass and is willing to make some comparison?
