1. What was so broken about that old place that someone felt the need to 'fix' it? If it ain't broke don't fix it.
2. Quotes in old threads are a total mess, making threads impossible to follow...needs fixing. This is by far the worst porting of a forum to a new software I have ever seen (many forums over many years)

4. Same for attachments The place is still slow. Getting 503 errors regularly when trying to access the site I had a 'Fatal error' yesterday - a screenshot of which i already posted.
5. Answer: I count sometimes.... Mainly when the arrangement is stripped down Most of the time I sort of 'sing' the rhythm (and melody) of the line in my head as we go along.... I know I'm weird. One thing I do know though~: our drummer NEVER counts when he's playing and he's unable to play to a click - the click puts him off....who'd have thunk it? a drummer that doesn't count the rhythm? Yet we've been going as a band, well over 30 years... Counting rhythm is a myth - totally unnecessary
6. Not with my custom stream, it won't. It's the posting, not the loading of streams that takes the time.

I think you're on to something
9. Tidied up now thanks. I think I'll play elsewhere for the next few days though - this place is too painfully slow to be any fun...
10. In trying to set up an equivalent of the old 'View New Content' page I saved multiple 'Activity Streams' (not realising where they were saved and thinking nothing was happening) before I realised that to access the 'new stream' it was done from the Activity tab.....as a result I have a long list of near identical and identically named 'Custom Activity Streams'. How do I delete them?
11. I tried playing some butter the other day - it just made a mess and really doesn't play very well at all.
12. I've always had a bad reputation for anything why spoil that?
13. Found a solution of sorts. Use Condensed and filter Read Status to Everything
14. I want exactly the same. I think it's a system thing We're too used to how the View New Content tab worked in the old place. if it worked exactly like that I'd be a happier bunny but only a little bit
15. Using Firefox/W7Pro here and the prices are appearing fine
16. painfully slow here I can load 5 pages on other forums in the time it takes to load one on here
17. We're bombarded by requests via our FB page from promoters wanting to put us on. Those that can put a workable deal together get the gig.
18.
hang on, the singer wants to do an instrumental???????????????
He's getting on a bit
19.
If you've done it on your DAW then you'll be able to go back on listen to each part solo'd to work out what is playing what.
I'm not sure I've still got the project. If the band reject them then there's no point in keeping them IMO. It was 5 years ago DAW has had a hardware refresh since then....
20. We've not done much band stuff lately, maybe a rehearsal every 5 or six weeks or so just to keep in touch. We have done the odd bit of work on the never ending album recording process but we've not been together in the same room for a while... Anyway - emails start flying about this week and it's decided we'll meet up next week and do a 4hour session.... thing is the singer has decided he wants us to rehearse an instrumental I wrote about 5 years ago with a view to putting it on the album and playing it live..... I can hardly remember it. I am expected to come to rehearsal and teach everyone their parts. I don't even know my own! I haven't got a scooby how to play the keys or the guitars..... It was one of those bits of music where you play a riff into your DAW then improvise over the top of it on other instruments and comp what you've got together into something that seems to have form and structure.... Why can't the band decide they want to use my stuff when it's fresh and I can vaguely remember what key it's in? Ever find yourself in this kind of pickle?
