2. I've got a Puma 900...no problems at all and it fits in my hand luggage so I can take it on the fly aways....one less thing to worry about on the tech rider!
3. I have a couple of Warmoth necks on basses I put together myself....they remain without decals. I have a little problem insofar that if I was to use my own name as a 'brand', it would have to say 'Gibson'....DOH!
4.
I'm not ready to join a band
Yes you are. I formed a band BEFORE I'd ever picked up a bass or guitar,,,ability is not required.
5. Join a band if you're not in one already. I've played in bands on and off for 35 odd years...I'm still not very good but being in a band makes it all so much more fun.
6. TecAmp Puma...the cleanest I've ever heard

9. Mexico? In the 60s?
10. Bought some res-o-lite tuners off nick...great comms, easy to deal with, smooth transaction.. perfect
11. so good he asked twice
12. Just home from final practice before our 2 date trip to Portugal next weekend... Our guitarist has a new toy. A Boss DD-500 delay pedal... What a difference a pedal makes. This thing is fantastic compared to his old DD-3 We use a fair bit of delay and tempo based effects. With the old pedal ,if the drummer drifted out of time with the guitar delay we lost it...and since he struggles playing to a click (he never bothers), playing to a delay meant we often were all over the place.. but this thing is magic...guitard can adjust delay time with his foot by tapping along on the pedal and it'll adjust the delay time according to the delay type programmed in the patch...that means we can have tempo changes and when we get to the bit that requires the delay it'll actually be in time. And he can select patches with his foot too...so he programmes a sequence of patsches to follow the set list and tada...every delay is in time! I can honestly say this single pedal has made a huge difference to the way we sound and tonight we played better than ever!

16.
Well... In all honesty I've been a tad dismissive of 'social media' in the past (MyFace/Tw*tbook/whatever), and didn't hold out much hope of anything coming of this. ... Miracles can happen after all, (
WOW! result Social media is great. I had my car stolen on 23rd January 2015. As a result of a fierce Facebook campaign a member of the public saw it parked up in a cul-de-sac 7miles from where I lived and called it into the police. It was recovered on 29th january 2015. Social media is great at this kind of thing!
17. Bought a DHA VT1 EQ DI MK2 instead plus a T-Rex current doubler that allows the use of 2 x 12VDC supplies from the T-Rex delivering 600mA Mr Hall reckons that'll be more than enough... Looing forward to delivery... probably going to whack a 12AU7 in instead [i have a 12AY7 and 12AT7 too to try] so there's not so much overdrive going on....
18. I'll be 51 next month I've still got 13 years left on my mortgage !!
19. get a card reader and take card payments with the jug
20.
Premises http://www.premisesstudios.com
Crikey...those 2 rehearsal rooms will sound a bit live won't they? With all those breeze blocks Why do none of these studios publish their rates?
21.
What did you think of it?
The neck was a bit chunky to say the least! but bizarrely felt right because of the 'narrowness' of the fingerboard. ...I found being restricted to a single string extremely limiting...hahaha - certainly root fifth stuff out the window unless the string was tuned to the root of the key!
22.
OK... I don't own it anymore but this Atlansia Solitaire used to be mine:
Did you sell that to Jonny Shrimpton? If so I've played it.
23. Where's the option for 3?
24. Last night my Warmoth DinkyP with a Status jazz neck (very light at 7lb3oz) was frustrating me. Symptoms were akin to a dead spot...the C on the A string (3rd fret) seemed much quieter than all the other notes. Never noticed it before. It's strung 45 65 80 100 d'Addario ENR71 half rounds. They've been on a while and I suppose the A string does the most work so perhaps all it is is an indication it's time to change strings? But I prefer the thud of old strings to the twang of new ones. But I prefer the feel of the half rounds over anything else so not going to go flats (been there)....
25. yes i suspect so i've vanished from many other places, why would BC be any different?
