2.
Here they all are!
OMG you have the same carpet as me......I hate it.
  3.
I already have a 2nd gen Super12T but i really can't help but want a Big Baby 2!!!
Me too
  4.
...you get one from GAK?
No, Thomann - it's cheaper , in stock, but not here yet. I am getting this for my Nano 'fly away board' It means I do not need to remember to take a UK to EU converter which IME aren't the best at remaining plugged in throughout a gig. I also find that the stages we play overseas are generally quite large and I often find the board a long way from a mains outlet. It reduces the amount of cabling to trip over or come unplugged.
  5.
Did you pay the import duty up front? If not, an unpleasant surprise may await you; or if you did pay it, maybe an even more unpleasant surprise!
Yes VAT and duty paid upfront. No bill on delivery. I have imported plenty of stuff from USA but never before paid the VAT and duty upfront like this. It works. One thing I will say though is that Musicians Friend/Borderfree (the International shippers) could improve their communications significantly.
  6. Well it has arrived. I am now the proud owner of a Gig Skinz DGMS small mixer/utility bag so I can carry my Shuttel 9.2 around in style and comfort. Couldn't find any in UK - the DBMS yes but not the more nicely (IMHO) finished DGMS. Paid a few quid over the odds 9 days end to end.
  7. OK couldn't wait - I've just ordered one. Review to follow once I've charged it, fitted it and exhausted it.
  8. Anyone got one yet? I see they've been out a month now. I am wondering how long they last, how durable they seem and how long they take to charge? At £89 it seems frightfully dear for what is merely a rechargeable battery Anyone?
  9. What about a pedaltrain nano?
  10. so that's a "No" then is it? I see - yet again I am the guinea pig pioneer....
  11. I have used a MOTU MTP-AV USB which is basically a 128Express with added clock capabilities and it is more than capable.
That was last Monday 7th I've heard nothing so today i contacted them and this is what they said
Thank you for your recent inquiry. Your order was shipped to the international processing center of our partner BorderFree, who will be sending the order to you. It left our facility on October 8. We appreciate you choosing Musician's Friend. Have a great day!
So now the 5 days becomes 6 business days......how tedious is this? I thought US customer service was supposed to be exemplary? This is frustrating and quite shocking to me. I expect emails when they say I will get emails - am I being unreasonable? Why would it take them so long anyway? Anyone any experience with Musician's Friend and will i ever get my order?

My vote goes to the Tokai TFL1 Flanger I had onme of the 80s but I seem to have lost it.
  14.
Strangely enough, nothing at present. I must be ill.
What he said. There must be something wrong with me.
  15. BBE OptoStomp compressor pedal and Genz Shuttle
  16.
I care about port, too.
but not so keen on sherry huh?
  17.
Could be...cosy?
I know - I reckon it might but I might have to take the Roqsolid cover off to get the bootlid closed......
  18. Do you reckon I will get a Barefaced Super12T in here: http://www.cars101.c...html#dimensions Barefaced Super 12T Dimensions 30" H x 19.5" W x 13.5" D I keep meaning to take my cab to the Toyota dealer but haven't got round to it.
  19.
What I crave personally is a totally uncoloured back line set up, so that my bass sounds like it does through headphones in my studio. Not found it yet.
I think I have with my GB Shuttle 9.2 into my Barefaced S12T That sounds like perfection to me.
  20.
Thats sort of what I was aiming for with my precision. But I haven't got around to swapping the Affinity neck for some a little better and blacker...
It needs to be Matt black - so no light can escape whatsoever......
  21. i have a Babicz on one of my Warmoths. It's an excellent bridge. It has no sharp pointy bits unlike some others - (Gotoh 201 anyone?).... However if you use your right hand to dampen the strings you will find that you cannot make contact with the strings as they pass over the saddles as they will be 'buried' in recesses, Tricky... That said I far prefer having a blood free plucking hand
  22.
AM I SHOUTING AGAIN???
SORRY? DID YOU SAY SOMETHING?
  23.
No offence, I mean you were probably just as good before, but a cab cannot really make you a better player. It might make you play more as you like the sound, which makes you better.
It makes me better precisely because I can hear what is wrong with my playing and do something about it. I have heard things that I previously had not noticed and been able to correct them.
