1.
getting the sound right - which only takes a couple of minutes anyway.
Really? With the wrong gear it can take for ever
2.
I looked on their website and checked stock and it was all 0,
They were reporting 2 in stock in black when i looked just before I posted that post
3.
No.
Yes - it makes a huge difference
4. Depends..... At the moment i use what's there as I have sold my cab. Last week it was a TNT115 Our usual room has a peavey450 head and a peavey 4x10 - I can just about cope with that but God forbid i ever get the Marshall MB410 combo -that gets swapped straight away. Once my barefaced S12T arrives I shall go back to using my own rig (unless it's a Sunday evening and I have had the kids that weekend as I will have had to return them to their mother and kids and rigs don't fit in the car at the same time)
5. At the moment I drive a Mazda6 estate and quite happily transport my bass around in a full flight case! As soon as I sell the Mrs' house I will be replacing the Mazda with a Toyota GT86 I hope. The full flightcase will only fit in the boot with the rear seat folded down. I don't intend to do this every time I need to carry my kit...sometimes I may have my kids in the car too... So I am looking to purchase a gig bag. This would take up less space because it is shorter and narrower and is likely to fit in the boot without having to fold the rear seat. But I know there is a huge variation in quality between gig bags. I would like as much padding as possible. It only needs to fit full scale precision shaped basses. Pockets are not an issue as all leads etc will go in my pedalboard bag. So what do you recommend and why? [with links please]
6. Was the tape running slowly? It may be possible to load the tracks into a DAW and speed them up and increase the pitch accordingly, perhaps by running it through a tape sim plugin.
7. You could do this with melodyne editor or some other pitch correction software.

9.
luckily ive never been in a situation where it has been a total car crash and hard to start again
That is actually a far far far easier situation to deal with than everyone trying to improv back together after a mid song pile up. make light of it - get a laugh out of the crowd - then blitz it second time around. It makes you seem human to the punters and bridges that 'gap' that sometimes exists twixt band and punter.....and gives the punters a 'special I was there when,...moment'
10.
Sorry guys the punters will only notice if you tell them.
what is so wrong with punters noticing? As i posted earlier I can think of 2 times in the last x years that we have pulled ourselves up and decided to start again. What caused these I'm a bit hazy on....but that does not matter. All this talk of plough on whatever is bollocks. The punters have paid to hear your songs played live, if you screw them up then it's courteous to unscrew them and give the punters what they paid for. To plough on regardless is an insult to your paying punters.
11. We stop and start again - We've done it twice that I can remember. The punters loved it!
12. I have made 2 Warmoths. They are both beautiful players.
13. I have been toying with the idea of getting an all valve head. I have toyed with the idea of giving Matamp a ring and dropping £1.5k on a GT200....but it feels like a lot of moolah. Then I thought i I could make my own, <Top gear>How hard can it be?</Top Gear> So I started to trawl the interweb looking for info. There does not seem to be much out there. So....what info sources do you suggest for a DIY 150-200W all valve bass amp potential build? I'd ideally need circuit diags, parts suppliers, costings etc etc
14. I've just had a look on DV's website [ http://www.dv247.com ] and it seems that for the first time ever they do not list a single Fender bass. Does anyone know why Digital Village have stopped stocking Fender?
15. Have you tried here?: http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/pedaltrain-mini-pedalboard-with-soft-case-1802-p.asp
16. I think this might be the problem with my Warmoth P/J. I got so frustrated by it that I went out and built another Warmoth active P instead! An expensive fix for what is likely to be a simple problem. Will get the soldering iron out asap.
17.
That's nice. They seem to have included a Hartke ice cube dispenser to make up for the wait.
They did promise me a tee shirt but that never arrived
18.
I saw this - at £399 it does seem a bit expensive for a fridge... http://uk.marshallfridge.com/
i paid A LOT less than that when they were initially launched. Demand has outstripped supply and the price has rocketed as a result.

20. After waiting over 9 months for delivery since I paid for it my Marshall fridge has finally arrived. Now I do not have to walk all the way from my studio room to the utility room or the kitchen to get a drink. Real man cave furniture!!
21. If you think that bridge looks big you obviously have not seen a Babicz [attachemnt as on my Warmoth P]
22. 1 month into the wait and it's torture..... my old cab has been sold and I have been using a Peavey TNT115 in rehearsals We are due to do some recording in a couple of weeks to lay down the next 4 songs for our new album and I was hoping to mic this cab rather than DI and amp sim.... I HATE WAITING
23.
I had the most amazing bout of GAS after seeing another post about the Fender Cabronita P bass and thought, I gots to have one! There does not seem to be any in stock anywhere! I found Guitar Guitar doing them and ordered one, but the guy says now it will be first two weeks in May before they get them in. Im away back to work on the 7th! I cant wait that long for it! It will be unbearable!
Dawsons are reporting that they have stock
24. FWIW mine is in. Can i just say that this thread is my favourite source of fun on the interweb. Thank you for making this game.
