2. Everywhere I look I can find 5m or 10m or 25m lengths but not a simple 1m cable. Where can I buy a simple 1m 1/4" jack to speakon cable? I suppose I could make my own but I just can't be arsed.
 3. Mine's in, although I am far from happy with it....but my ears have had enough!

 6. Thought I would set up my own feedback thread as I have bought a couple of things from here and am now selling something. Hopefully I will get positive rep but you never know....
 7.
So the qtron hasn't made it to the board yet?
This is my gigging board..... The qtron won't be going on it as my band has little use for a filter in its sound. The qtron I bought as a toy Until I like it and get the hang of using it [and the others like it and we write some songs that are enhanced by using it] it will stay off the board The band i am in gig a 2hr+ set of self penned songs going back over the last 30 years which the punters know well from the many albums recorded. A qtron just isn't going to do anything for the bass on those.
 8. bump Can deliver within 20 miles of Dunstable Someone's got to have it @ £100....please - I want a Barefaced Super12 instead but you know this has to go first.

 15.
The equation of what to charge for ticketed gross is interesting.... 25% seems way too low but 60% is optimistic and I can't see that working IME On figures of around £3500 to £4000 to the venue in sales ...
60% works for us remember the promoters often get the bar or a significant percentage thereof
 16.
That's a good going rate then! 99% of the promoters I've dealt with round Portsmouth way ALL operate on the idea that bands should only be paid for the amount of people they bring. Which is where the issue lays!
We fix the fee in £ based on the 60% of door revenue and contract to it. It is then up to the promoter to get enough punters in...that's their job - that's what promoting is eg Capacity 300 ticket price £10 we ask for (and get) £1800 plus expenses. The promoter than has to ensure he sells enough tickets.
 17. LEDs are only worth putting along the top edge side dots. Number of strings is irrelevant.
 18.
Our festival rate isn't that much lower
Festivals should be double other gigs as promoter has more income and less expenditure per act.
 19. Ask promoter what ticket price. What is venue capacity. Calculate door revenue from this. Ask for 60% plus expenses. That's what we do.
 20.
Can we have the stems as WAV, please
seconded
