  1. Oh ok. So you don’t care that much for the simulators of cans and amps.
  2. Oh ok. You returned it? Did you try adding sims you like? They have around 6 slots. i bought it up as I’m looking to get this of the laney digbeth db -pre. Doesn’t have cab sim and it option. the dark glass vintage v2 is another option.
  3. have you looked into the bud Melvin Lee Davis preamp and di pedal. It’s very small. The layout is very simple. you can add cab sims and ir via there software and transfer it to pedal. Also you can edit them via software. it’s gotten really good reviews. https://www.gak.co.uk/en/nux-mld-bass-preamp-+-di-pedal/954536?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAx_GqBhBQEiwAlDNAZqiS82VUJeDNEVZmDkF04yMloPfBjIH4IRFNfophV95lT0Elaaks2RoCRpcQAvD_BwE
  4. No worries bud. i look forward to hear what you think.
  5. when I went down to guitar guitar in Camden London I tried a couple basses. I went to ask what the body would was. He came back and confirmed that the red bass was ash. I tried the Nate Mendel bass that day which is also an ash body. You are right some colour ways was alder and some was ash.
  6. I just bought a Japanese Yamaha pulser bass. This is a crazy deal. The neck profile and the body is top. Gutted this was just posted 😭
  7. I have a Yamaha pulser Japanese bass. Its neck is very very similar to a 77 mocha fender pbass I’ve played here in central london. 40mm neck with it being nice and deep back to front.
  8. Purchased a precision loom from John. Top service. Extremely helpful with my questions, prompt and detailed delivery updates and packaging was top notch. Will be using him again. Highly recommend his services.
  9. Gotcha. Yes they do. Look like well-worn medium jumbo frets
  10. Wow. I would jump on this but I just got a Yamaha pulser 400. I am not going to lie I want those pickups for my Yamaha hahahahhahahha
  11. You have better eyes than me. How do you tell if a bass has been refretted? The frets look completely flat so either needs fret dressing and crowning or a refret.
  12. Hey, what was the headphones you used? Also the impedence? (noob question alert) How’s impedence affect the sound we hear?
  13. You have been helpful. Let’s find out what martinb headphones was and impedence and then we have learnt something 😁
  14. Oh that’s interesting. I had just decided on the digbeth as I found it at the best price. In regards of it sounding thin and quiet. When you raise the volume of the doesn’t it sort the quietness? Does it sound much quieter than you plugging headphones into an amp head which has a headphone port?
  15. Hey Peeps. I am looking to get a practice amp/pedal for while I travel about and when I am not home. I have whittled down to the three listed in title. I read the thread on the nux preamp, and laney digbeth here. I wondered if anyone has had all or more than one of the above. If so how do they stack up against each other. note I will be using it with headphones and using the AUX in to practice atm.
  16. They really are. Yours looks like a 600 extremely rare
  17. That is sexy. Greco?
  18. that body is “Sen” Asian ash equivalent. I recently bought a 70’s jap Yamaha pulser 400 and its Sen body. Great find you have
  19. Thanks for the comparison. Like others have stated I find it interesting how deep the American pro II necks are. My favourite necks are the late 70’s.
  20. The red bodies are ash. Listing this would help this bass find a new home. Ash body maple neck p basses don’t come around all that often. I just bought a 70’s Yamaha pulser to get that profile pass. good luck on sale.
  21. You said it perfectly lol. It’s like how I love the sound of nearly dead rotosound swing 66 strings.
