I really like Fender and Chrome flats, all the other big brand flats I’ve tried have just been way too stiff for me (oops pardon) I’m a rounds for fun, flats for work kind of guy lol ;-)

This is my late 80s/early 90s Pro II. Korean, worth bugger all, but plays very well still. A black and gold would be nice, but I’ve got too many guitars as it is.

Hah I’ve considered learning Wings for Marie but gave up for that very reason.

I find this tricky, insomuch that it’s relentless and tough to keep locked in all the way through (for me anyway !)

I think I may have to get one of these. Vintage looking but modern neck radius and frets. Plus I won’t cry when it gets attacked by a cymbal.

The guitar is actually very simple generally. The bass and drums though, eek!

Hah too true ! There’s stuff I did back in the early 90s that I cannot fathom how I managed to play back then. My hands must have shrunk !

We are a Chester based band on the lookout for a new singer to join us. We (guitar / bass / drummer) have been playing together for around a year, but recently lost our singer (they didn't die; they moved to Brighton). We are all around late 30 year olds and play 60s/70s blues/rock style music by artists like... Free / Bad Company Cream Thin Lizzy Rory Gallagher Gary Moore Pink Floyd Deep Purple The Doors....... etc etc Good old classic rock stuff! We also promote spontaneous jamming and improvisation to make things interesting. If you sing and play rhythm guitar, even better! But if not we might look for one of those too. We practice every Tuesday night (8:00-10:00) in Chester so if you're keen, give me a shout and come down and meet us. Super relaxed, no dramas, no TV show spinning chairs. We’re not interested in world domination or gigging most days of the week, it’s more about the fun and social side with a couple of gigs a month.
