    For sale is my Genz Benz Shuttle Max 9.2 Amp. Loads of specs here ( [url="http://www.genzbenz.com/?fa=detail&mid=2664&sid=610&cid=95"]http://www.genzbenz....&sid=610&cid=95[/url]) but basically a dual channel FET and tube preamp and a 500 watt at 8 ohms power amp. Bought from a seller on here and in perfect condition which I'm sure he'd attest to. Included gig bag and foot switch. Only weighs 7 lbs. Too complicated for me in all honesty, I'm a plug it in and turn it up kind of guy Based in Chester, and I'd prefer not to post.

    Nah, it's the gauge the d and the g are identical bar the ballends being a different colour. Was a cheap experiment in flats, and baring this I may persist, the tone really suits what I do in the context of the band I'm in.

    Just had a set delivered today which I abesent mindidly put on. Ball end colours all correct, started tuning up, got to the G string, thinking wow this is taking a lot of effort to get up to pitch. Not to worry, must be a flatwound thing, start playing, bloody hell that G is really stiff. On closer inspection I've got two D's masquerading as a D and a G, so first venture into flatwound world has not gone well! I'm waiting on a response from the retailer but in the meantime does anyone know where I can get single Fender flatwounds from ?

    Out of interest, if you want to use one cab with the ability to add another cab later do you go for a 4 or 8 ohm cab ?

    500 watt combo with cover. Amp is in excellent condition, cover is a little bit scruffy. Lots of info here: http://www.tcelectronic.com/bg500-210/ Great sound, and the tube tone does a convincing SVT impression. Built in compressor, three editable presets, tuner, and adjustable tweeter. Reason for sale is, it's too heavy for me and my back is made of glass ! Amp is located in Chester, I can deliver within say 100 miles give or take for a small fee.
