  1. PM incoming sir!
  2. ACG and De Gier both do single cuts that have a very similar profile to that. Just without the nasty J pickguard and control plate!
  3. Honestly though, I know the perfect bass for you...
  4. Basses relic'd to look like someone else's bass. The second you put a tiny knock in it, or the player who it's modelled after puts a ding in their bass, the whole thing becomes pointless.
  5. Frank was kind enough to drop off a strap to my doorstep free of charge! Can't ask for more than that! Another credit to Basschat, cheers good sir!
  6. This would complete my collection! I have an A, N, K, E and R basses.
  7. What does that even mean anyway? How can you play butter? And if you tried, you'd be a greasy mess! And what about vegans??? Can they play your greasy, melting, calorific bass?? If anything a bass could be described as playing like cheese, but butter? That just makes no sense! If your bass plays like overchurned cow squeezings, you probably have a duff instrument!
  8. Put your bed on the lawn then take a photo of the bass on it. Just to píss off maximum people!
  9. Pink keyboards and sunglasses, but only in combination, separately is fine.
  10. Make it a 6 string and I'm all over it!
  11. @Maude, you sure do have some strong (and wrong!) opinions! 😂 I jest, of course! All very much each to their own with all these things. The ergonomic carve, if done properly, is deeper than a top wood would cover. It would need to be an extremely thick piece of top wood for that to work, then the side profile would look odd as the top wood would be super thin over the cutout and ultra thick over the rest of the body. That design is a bit of a compromise to ergonomics, for me I like the contrast, but even if I didn't, having played my custom ACG with a deep ergonomic cutout, the function far outweighs the aesthetics. But, it's all very personal! No rights or wrongs etc.
  12. Such a happy face!
  13. I don't know what you're talking about...
  14. If anyone is in the market, Andertons have a couple of brand new Rebop DLX basses for a good chunk off...
  15. @P-Belly Evans, I see you've undergone the Michael Jackson rib removal surgery...
  16. I've seen your stiff one... I did not approve. Albeit from the top of a ladder peering into your bedroom window.
  17. I like a nice big stiff one. Happy now @barkin?? 😜 Dunlop Tortex Blue 1mm for bass. Dunlop Tortex Red 0.5mm for guitar.
  18. It's actually French for Bass Cat.
  19. But we want them NOW Ped!!! NOW NOW NOW NOW!!!!! 😫
  20. Only if you feel comfortable doing so. I'd be happy to share any useful contacts if I have them.
  21. I've just read all of this and at every turn you seem to have a reason not to take well established routes to success suggested by others who've been down the same route. I have twice been in this position and twice found success is relentlessly chasing the company in question (ParcelForce in my scenario), usually directly emailing the CEO or board of directors until they either make the effort to locate the item or they simply concede and offer compensation. There is obviously more to the situation, we'd all be curious to know the facts, some of us might genuinely be able to assist if the facts are known, especially with CEO contacts for many courier companies.
  22. Perfectly reasonable cabs these. Modelled after the Eden XLT 410 I believe.
  23. I've had a number of variations of these over the years and they are very good basses for the money and can easily stand up to others of a much higher price tag. Good choice sir!
