  1. I mean I would offer a trade for your bass, but you only want to sell, and I don't have cash to buy it! (And if I did get it, I would have it fretted)
  2. I'm just setting you up for a great heist one day where you will send me all your basses and you will learn my name has never been Russ and I am but a figment of your imagination! But... until that day, may we continue to do deals! 🍻
  3. Just bought some ebony wooden knobs from Tony, having done X deals with Tony in the past (X represents a number unthinkably high!) I'm so confident everything will go smoothly I'm leaving feedback before they arrive! Only exceptional continuous service deserves this confidence!!
  4. I would trade you, but I can't buy cash! And it would then be fretted!
  5. Evening all, I have an opportunity to buy a Peavey Classic 400 head with 4x10 cab and re-speakered 1x15 cab, can I ask for a genuine opinion of what a 'good' price would be on the whole rig? Bear in mind it is well used and the cabs are a bit tatty! Thanks! Russ.
  6. How many strings though? I only have 6+ basses.
  7. What kind of trades would you be after?
  8. A few more pictures... Should be done before Christmas!
  9. A country that won't vote someone in because of the word 'Bum' isn't a country I'd want to be an MP of! Maybe I should move to the USA and grab some pússy... I'll bring the Felix!
  10. Good! I'd no doubt have used it for a month or two then turned it loose back on eBay. Story of my life!
  11. The small print says 'Bum sold separately'.
  12. Fair warning - if this is still available tomorrow, I'm going to buy it. Given it's being sold by Cash Converters in Bognor, if you do want it, I'd phone them and make them a £100 offer. Reckon they'd take it.
  13. You'll be fat-shaming me then because I'm at least the man equivalent of this bass!
  14. If you want this to sell, you should really post more photos, I mean we can't even see under the handle! Under the handle is the most important part... 😁
  15. Don't suppose you're selling the Helix to go in it?
  16. That is a very good price! NT for the cost of a BO... reckon this will sell quickly!
  17. Such a nice amp... every time I see it I want it!
  18. The serial number is definitely 1N22064 and it can't be a 1992 as it was bought by the original owner in 1991! Having reviewed as many guides to Yamaha serial numbers as I can find, this particular serial number layout is apparently for 1986/1989 basses and as the TRB6P was introduced in 1989 (so say the Yamaha archives!) I am close to certain it is 1989.
  19. The serial number on this one is 1N22064 which I think means it was the 64th guitar/bass built on July 22nd of either 86, 87, 88 or 89... I assume 1989 as I don't think the TRB6P's were made before 89. Can anyone confirm this?
  20. I wasn't the biggest fan of this colour, it's growing in me though... either which way, it a great eBay steal! 😁
