  1. 23.5" Scale on my newly recieve BayBee Bee Bass. Strung E-C mind you... Strings are not quite a taught as a regular 5er, but it is very playable and sounds like it should!

I bought BigJim's BayBee 5 string Bee Bass off of him, absolutely no issues whatsoever! We met in a seedy service station car park (bet at least 90% of us have done trades in these places!) and did the deal! Now my 10 string Bee Bass has a tiny brother!
  3. I'd really rather just get rid of the whole lot in one swoop so for now I'll hold off parting out. Russ.
  4. No fret buzz, the saddles have been adjusted slightly since re-stringing and the truss rod hasn't been touched as yet. It's hard to capture in a photo the 'straightness' of the neck, the angle makes focusing very difficult, below is my best attempt at that. Just to add, any interested parties are of course more than welcome to come take a look and give it a try before making any decisions.
  5. Still here, just been giving it a good set up, wax and polish. Just put some fresh strings on it so it's good to go to a new home.
  6. It is an excellent bass, and I have no trouble at all in keeping it for myself! However a 6 string bass has shown its face that I'd like to try and acquire hence putting it up for sale.
  7. I believe he is out of the country, his housemate was there to complete the sale on his behalf.
  8. If my Warwick Streamer Stage II sells, I will be very interested in discussing buying this!
  9. Hi all, Up for sale here is this rather lovely Warwick Streamer Stage II 5 string, it has an Afzalia body with Ovangkol 7 laminate neck and a wenge fretboard. The bass has the Warwick Yin Yang inlays which is almost the only reason I actually bought this bass! They're not overly common these days and are a £500 option, however I believe we're standard against SSII basses of this era! Looking at the Warwick price list, this bass currently retails at £5300. Not an unsubstantial sum... Condition wise it has one or two minor dings, really the only thing worth noting is a little dent on the fret board directly under the 5th fret on the G side. It doesn't affect playability at all but I wanted to make sure it's mentioned. I've had a discussion with one of the previous owners of this bass (a member of our very parish) and have been informed that the truss rod was replaced some years ago with a cross key truss as opposed to a hex key truss, so it turns with the use of a thick flat screwdriver or similar device. Worth noting. The bass comes with a custom fitted Warwick flight case and comes with a brand new truss rod tool, a set of Warwick strap lock, a half used tub of Warwick wax and a Warwick cloth. The bass plays superbly, the attack and growl and fantastic for tap and slap. The serial number dates the bass to March 2004. The pick ups are MEC as is the pre-amp. I'm based in Basildon, Essex and you're welcome to come view the bass. I can post it anywhere in Europe for around £50, and in the UK for around £30. Collection is also very welcome. If you have any questions, please let me know! Thanks, Russ.
  10. Afternoon all, Time to clear out some bits... This is essentially a deconstructed Hohner Rockbass, included is the body, the neck, the pups, the bridge and the tuners. All very usable for any number of purposes! £35 for the lot, call it £40 if you need it posted. Cheers, Russ.
  11. £90 is dead cheap, you could fling it on eBay and get more than that after fees!
  12. Tis an intriguing bass my good man... too many 6 string temptations on this forum and sadly not enough cash!
  13. Hellzero is your missus??? Well... I suppose I'm not surprised! 😂
  14. In the 4th picture it looks like you have seen monster... was @Hellzero standing in front on you? 😁
  15. Socks with sandals!!! 😱 In order to repent for this sin, you must now give me the bass... 😁
  16. @therealting So many women have said that exact line to me... 😂
  17. Excellent and honest photos, thank you! Is it a through neck or a set neck? And can you advise of the pre-amp?
  18. Is it possible for some more pictures please? Hi Res pictures of the front, back etc. Looks very interesting!
  19. Right where I work too... was after a 2 ohm head as well!
