    Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the quality is well up there, the fabrication of the custom parts for the pickups and bridge etc are not cheap... but this is a Marmite bass at best, I would own it, and I'd definitely pay £1000 for it, but I'd MUCH rather own 2 (maybe even 3!) pre-owned MTD 6 strings, maybe a few Yamaha TRB6ers, perhaps even a small fleet of Warwicks or Spectors for my £7000! At least I'd have some equity in the basses... whereas with this, if you paid £7000 for it, you may have just as well flushed £6000 down the bog!

    If you put this cab in a box, and ran an unspecified amount of power through it, the speakers would both be blown and not blown until you open the box. Schrodingers Schroeder. 🙀 Tempted... not sure I've got anything more to offer in trade that you'd want!

    I spoke to the shop about this one a while back... They said seller is the builder and even with it being second hand the builder reckons £7000 is reasonable... madness! They tried to say it's worth the price because the body is made from an old bar top! 😂 So a free piece of discarded wood means 7k? There's barely anything out there in the custom bass world that costs more that 7k new, I just can't fathom the logic behind the price. This will simply never sell... it wouldn't sell at half the price either! Some people are dreamers.

    I can attest to Fred's work... he built me a 10 string Bee and it is by far the best build quality I have ever seen. VERY tempted by this! Binky could do with a little brother!

    That's the ticket... absolutely ace looking head. Actually severely tempted. Would you part with the head/case on its own? And is postage an option?

    Would definitely look spot on and tidy in an nice sturdy SKB case! This is a rare bit of 90's kit, would love to give it a test run is you were Essex based.

    Eminence Kappalite 12" speakers are 400w at 8ohm, so I'd go with that as a guide to be safe, but with the 5" speaker and the tweeter it could be closer to 600w.

    Gasping for the pre and power to be in a rack! Cracking gear though, sound is almost dead on for Eden in my opinion. Would be very happy to own this if you were closer/I had the space.

    Fair enough, eBay do like to poach a good 14% if factoring in PayPal fees. It's a cracking amp so I'm sure it'll sell soon!

    Very nice indeed. I have spoken to Oscar several times, he seems like a good guy, though I have heard recently his customers are having trouble with him taking many years to build their basses! So if you're considering a Prat, then this is a great option!

    Have you got a picture of the full bass? I'd like to see the whole bass in one picture to see how the headstock looks against the body. Quite hard to picture the bass in its entirety with only body and neck pictures! Cheers.
