    Afternoon all! I've just acquired this rather lovely but 'pre-ampless' Sei Headless 6 string, looks like it' going to be an awesome bass once up and running... What's the opinion of which pre-amp would be a good addition to this beast? I'm currently thinking a Noll 3 band but open to suggestions and opinions! Cheers, Russ.

    To be fair that was Tye Zamora's spec! He had it on sale on eBay a few years ago for a bit over $10,000. I personally really like It! But not at 10k.

    Hi all, I recently picked this up in a trade, it's of no use to me at the moment so is for sale! Excellent condition with box, instructions and power supply (it's an EU power supply so will need either a UK power supply or a EU/UK converter). This pedal is in excellent shape and has a good palette of tones, they are circa £110 new so £50 collected (£55 posted) seems more than fair! Any questions, let me know! Russ.

    Hi guys, I picked these up in a recent trade, I have no use for them so am selling them for a rock bottom non-negotiable price! £50 collected (£55 posted) for a matched set of custom 5 string Quilt Maple cases Bossa pick ups is a steal, you'd be looking a 4 times this much minimum new.     Yet another trade complete with Tony! I have literally lost count as to how many trades we've done! 6 or 7 at least. I now have his W&T Zoid 5 and a big bag of other little bass related items and he has my Warrior 7. I've no doubt we'll trade again in the near future, it's almost like borrowing basses from each other now! Always fun to try new basses, real solution for GAS!

    Must be blind but I can't see another thread with this in it... if it was repairable it'd be worth a punt at £300, which is an offer I made that got swiftly rejected.

    Rotosound custom made the strings, a full set of 13 was somewhere around £120, but had to be ordered way in advance as it meant shutting down some of their production line to make them! The thickest string was a G#00 resonating at 17hz and was .257 gauge over a 40" scale. Thinnest string was .007 over a 26" scale.

    Or just for the sheer hell of it! The much controversial Jon Letts built me a 13 string bass a few years ago because we wanted to see if it was possible and if it was useful... yes to the first, no to the latter! Sometimes things just gotta be built! I have to add that Jon worked damn hard on the below... the neck was a fantastic piece of work, many a hideous problem was overcome before the whole concept became a playable instrument.

    Not to engage in some form of hideous 'who had more necks' oneupmaship but... I did own this ridiculous 6 necked beast for a year or so a decade ago! At one point (after many beers) 6 of us did attempt to play Hotel California on it. Ahh those where the days!

    I'm here! Nice bass but 14mm spacing wouldn't be for me! Plus I already have a USA custom 8 Conklin. Someone will definitely have fun with this though!
