  1. Just read that... sorry I skimmed over the ad! Shade too far for me, I'm sure someone will snatch it up. Good luck with the move sir!
  2. Where are you located sir? This could be of use!
  3. To be fair it's about equal of a 'crime'... someone buying legitimately to sell on for profit with the use of the OP's pictures without consent Vs someone trying to contact the seller to buy the bass knowing the auction has ended and been won by someone else. The only way I suppose you might have the morale high ground is if you did manage to get the bass you'd need to never sell it for a single penny more than you paid for it even years down the line, else you run the risk of falling into the hypocrite category! I suppose the REAL morale high ground would be yours had you of informed the seller about their bargain price and offered to pay him a sum more in line with current prices... Interesting debate though...
  4. I do this on a semi-regular basis with lower end guitars etc. If a seller is happy to sell to me for an agreed price and I go and collect the item and give them cash and then I take the effort to restore/fix/clean up the item and re-sell it and make a profit the that's just business. Literally everything you buy has a profit made on it buy someone somewhere otherwise we'd all work for free and and the economy would collapse in a giant heap! The guy should of taken his own pictures and created his own description but other than that, he bought the bass fairly and is entitled to advertise it at what ever price he chooses! Gotta be on the ball if you want to snap up those rare genuine bargans!
  5. Who needs balls these days! Basses are what we need!
  6. Very nice, though a slight shame that there is a hole where the additional pot once was.
  7. Been waiting 3 days for a response to my PM! Ambient is a busy man!
  8. None of the photo links work for me expect the one with the receipt.
  9. How dare you... Bonobos are perfectly good raspists.
  10. The price means nothing until the last few seconds... all the instruments I've sold on ebay have doubled/tripled the final sale price within the last hour of the auction.
  11. Nope. Can't access without giving personal details...
  12. Well what am I supposed to do with my £2.94 now?? How very inconsiderate of you!
  13. I think you might need some more pictures! An absolutely excellent bass (used to be mine) from an excellent seller. Someone will enjoy this!
  14. The ebay mobile app has a much less advanced filter... I've many a time made successful contact via sending a message that way. Sending any contact info via the main eBay website in nigh on impossible.
  15. Excellent basses these... had one a while back, really high build quality and cracking sound!
  16. A new Jerzy Drozd is indeed an expensive thing. They are excellent basses so who ever buys this will not be disappointed.
  17. Wait... the restoration cost €6000??? I have to ask two things: 1, What condition was the bass in before it was restored and 2, what was done to it during restoration? I have a Jerzy myself and love it, though unfortunately Mr Drozd is not someone I would ever do business with again! Lovely bass, good luck with the sale!
