Hi All, I recently acquired this lovely bass and now need to sell it on almost straight away as I've just (somewhat unexpectedly) bought a Jerzy Drozd 7 string bass and need to re-coup some of the costs! This bass is almost immaculate, minimal wear anywhere on the bass, the neck and fretboard look as new with next to no fret wear. The Lava orange colour combined with the top wood is probably the nicest example I've seen, really quite stunning under the right light. All the electronics work 100%, the neck is dead straight and the action is very low. The bass sounds excellent, the strings look to be Conklin and have plenty of zing left in them, the hard case is fitted for a very similar bass so the Yammy sits snugly and securely keeping it well protected. I'm happy to ship it if need be and will include this in the price (included shipping to the UK only, if you want it shipped abroad then I will contribute up to £20 towards this cost). These are close to a grand new and I don't believe they come with a hard case so my price seems quite fair at roughly 50% of retail. I'll update with string spacing and weight tonight. (Hellzero will come at me if I don't post these details!) Any other questions, just ask! Sorry for the odd orientation of the photos... that's just how they decided to upload! The standard specs from Yamaha are as below: Construction Bolt-on Scale Length 35" (889mm) Fingerboard Rosewood Radius 40 (1000mm) Frets 24 Body Maple/Alder Neck Maple Bridge Solid Brass Pickups Alnico V Hum-Canceled x 2 Controls Master Volume, Pickup Balancer, 3-BandEQ

Afternoon, So I've just finished setting up my new acquisition... A damn tasty Jerzy Drozd 7 string bass with an Aguilar OBP3 Preamp. Plays like an absolute dream and sounds excellent across the spectrum. Jerzy does build some outstanding basses, pretty obvious really as they rarely ever come up for sale! Needless to say, I'm very happy with this beast! Sorry for the crap pictures... Adding pictures using a mobile isn't overly easy! Russ.

Hi guys, I have two heavy duty flight cases, perfect for amp heads or studio gear etc. They have no rack mounts on the inside but the do have plenty of padding. One has a broken latch and has no foam on the bottom of the inside (£20) the other has working latches and foam on all of the inside (£25). Both have been well used and show plenty of signs of wear, but both are very sturdy and would probably survive a small nuclear explosion. Both would retail at over £100 so I think £25 for the good one and £20 for the broken latch one is fair. (£40 for both is fine too!). Dimensions are: External 44cm, 19cm, 50cm. Internal 35cm, 16cm, 46cm. They both are roughly 4u. I can send them, they are heavy so it'll probably be £10 a piece to send. I'm on 07912222127 and based in Wickford, Essex. Give me a shout if you want them! Russ.
Hi. I bought a 1965 Fender jazz from this seller almost 3 years ago. And the bass is amazing. You can trust this guy.
That being said and I'm sure the seller is nothing but genuine, I would still think when asking £7500 you could take the time to write a detailed description and post a fair amount of high-res pics covering all aspects of the bass. Probably would help the sale!

Crack Converters Pitsea Yamaha BB1100S £250?

They sold it cheap because half the electronics didn't work. As I suspected (and slightly gambled) the battery needed replacing and all is well. Needs a new set of strings but she plays very well and sounds meaty and Crisp. Lully stuff. -

Well... That was a good deal! I had a good look at the Yammy, also had a good look at a 70's Ibanez Concord acoustic (a little tatty), paid £220 for both and got them to throw in the full Sopranos box set! A good days buying, cheers for the tip sir! Russ. -
