  1. Just bought a Musicman Bongo 6 from Chris, apart from a bit of a payment crisis from my bank we had a perfectly smooth trade. No issues at all, great guy to deal with! Russ
  2. Hi guys, Got a Shure SM58 mic, great condition, only very minor use, comes with a standard mic lead and a mic to jack lead. £50 collected or £55 posted. Russ
  3. USA Sterling's are excellent creatures. Also, Tommy is a good man to deal with. Did business a while ago, pure gentleman.
  4. To me!! Happy to get this back in my possession (next Saturday).
  5. I do play it occassionally, and yes it is a VERY different beast to the MM. The MM is a rare beast and is in top condition too. As a collectors piece it has some allure, but it certainly is no Sei.
  6. Afternoon sirs, I have been offered a tempting trade for one of my basses and I'd like to know any honest opinions offered as to whether it's a wise trade to make... My bass is a Sei Flamboyant 6 string, No. 67. It has all the trimmings including LEDs and Piezo pups. Thuya burl top, back and headstock caps. A stunner. However... It has some noticeable play wear, micro lacquer cracks in a fair few places (albeit hard to see) and a larger lacquer crack at the top of the neck, not in the wood though. The trade offer is a MusicMan Stingray Premier Dealer Network in Guilded White, mint condition with case and all the trimmings, in addition the trade includes a (replica) MusicMan JP6 Ball Family Reserve 6 string guitar (again, this is a replica and not a real JP6, plays good though). I happily play any bass or guitar, and enjoy collecting rear models where I can, so the trade bait is tempting, I'm just not sure if it's worth it... Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks! Binky.
  7. Hi mate, I have an Aries Senes II, the Red Wood one they have on the website. It's an awesome bass. Is Rosario Vasta associated with Aries? Or did he just copy the style? Thanks. Russ.
  8. You and me both pal! A cracking price for such a bass!
  9. One more thing to go... A near new barely used banjo for dummies book, very useful for budding banjoists! Was £17 new, so how about £7.50 including postage. Russ
  10. And the last of the bits to go is this rather standard but very useful power brick. It'll power up to 5 pedals at once and I'll throw in 6 power leads so all you need are the pedals! The plastic clip that keeps the main power lead in place is a little worn, but it doesn't effect the functionality of the unit at all. Shall we say £20 including postage? Russ. 11. More stuff that needs going... Here I present you with 8 various length, various make jack leads, 4 are working perfectly, the others are untested and I know at least 2 of the untested 4 are scratchy. I'll also toss in a mystery cable (firewire I think?) and a kettle lead that needs a new fuse! A few of the cables are Planet Waves and one or two are Neutric. There's in excess of 100ft of cable here, so even with the ones that don't work 100% there's still good cabling to be used! £20 inc. postage takes the lot. Russ. 12. In an on going effort to get rid of a few now surplus bits, I've got two unused (from Maplin I think...) universal power supplies, perfect for those pesky pedals! They come with 14 various tips, and are voltage adjustable so they'll pretty much power anything from your pedals to your mad science projects used for world domination. £20 for the pair including postage seems legit. Russ. [attachment=215854:2 power supplies (1).jpg]
  13. Afternoon Sirs, I'm having a little clear out and as part of that I've got 14 various length, various make patch cables that are now very much surplus to requirements. 3 of these are a little scratchy, so they may need a little love, but the other 11 are all 100% good to go! Even if you bin off the scratchy 3, you'll still be paying less that £2 a pop, I'll even include postage in that price, can't say fairer than that. Russ. [attachment=215853:14 patch cables (2).jpg]
  14. Trade for a Sei Flamboyant 6er? Has a little wear but also is ridiculously high spec!
  15. An old skool bass mods! These are quality basses, I reviewed their basic 7 string version a few years ago, excellent basses for the price.
