Hi all, Up for sale here is my Red Squier Affinity Stratocaster. Its in excellent condition, barely any marks or tarnishing anywhere, it could very almost pass for new! Comes with whammy bar and I can find a cheap gig bag for it too. I don't really have anything suitable to package it in but I could probably take the neck off and package it somehow if needed. Actual photos of the guitar now added! £75 collected from Wickford or £85 posted.

Hi all, Up for sale is my recently acquired Spector NS2000B bass. This is a lovely little player! The action is low, the rod is perfectly free, the body and neck have next to no marks on it. No issues with the electrics, all in a great cheap little beast. The metallic blue colour is really deep and quite striking. It'll come with a cheap gig bag and I'll also include a snazzy Levys strap! Dropped to £130 (including postage!!!) as I've got it on Reverb for £150 and BC deserves at least a 13% discount! £120 if you can collect.

Bought Paul's OLP 5 string - he packaged it up expertly and sent it out exactly when he said he would, it arrived safe and sound the next day - can't fault the transaction! All round top basschatter! Cheers sir!

Hi, Up for sale here is my absolutely outstanding Peavey TL6 6 string bass. This was made in the USA in 1992, it is in close to mint condition, hardly any marks on it anywhere except a teeny little scuff on the very tip of the headstock and a little tarnishing to the hardware, other than that it is in remarkable condition for its age. I'm only listing this as I have a powerful case of GAS for a bass being sold here! If that bass sells, then this is being withdrawn. It sounds unbelievably good - the action is nice and low and the strings are only a month or so old. It's 34" scale. The tone can be anything from super articulate HiFi to thunderous bass. The bridge is adjustable in all directions, it can be set at 15.5mm spacing up to just a hair under 18mm spacing (which is where it is now). The trans-red colour looks quite stunning with the gold hardware and light flame maple. It has a thick ebony fretboard and mother of pearl inlays. All in this bass is an absolute tone machine, in exceptionally good condition and with its original hard case. You genuinely will not find a better condition example of one of these basses (and yes I've read many a description that claims that, but in this case it is true - if you want to come view it to verify, you are welcome!) I'm based in Wickford, Essex and can post if really needed but I would prefer if it was collected or if we meet somewhere within say 50 miles of Wickford. Any questions, let me know.

Yours is £1200 less than this one from our good friends at Essex Recording Studio... Maybe offer it to them for a mere £1000, they'll still get £600 profit ging by their disgustingly ludicrous prices! https://www.essexrecordingstudios.com/products/mesa-boogie-usa-m-pulse-600-parametric-eq-bass-guitar-amplifier-amp-head In a serious note, I had one of these a while back - superb amps. £400 is a bit of a steal to be honest! -
Yeah, sorry, that was me messaging him to tell him - poor sod is only trying to sell his bass! Thought it the correct thing to tell him of his minor error. Definitely gave me a chuckle too!

Fix looks good! @Richard R - give it a go and see if it works for you.

Right... I 'think' I have the solution... Go to the Samsung Keyboard settings, click on 'Suggest Text Corrections' and switch it off. Seems to have worked for me for now...

Yup. Same.

Seems to be just here! Not had any issues anywhere else. Tis odd!

Every time I type anywhere on Basschat the text I'm typing randomly has thousands of page breaks added to it! Was trying to message another user and every word I typed was followed by about 20 page breaks! Same when typing this message, had to delete literally 400-500 page breaks! No idea what's happening!

They responded to my message this morning saying they are discussing the matter with the owner. Hopefully this means @ymdtzx has got in touch with the shop and not that the shop have got in touch with the person/thief that sold it to them... Let's hope @ymdtzx responds to this thread soon with positive news.

If you do list it for sale here, you can always include within the advert your 'trade options', so best of both worlds! Hope you get want you want man! I miss by Bongo 6, was a great bass!

@BassBeast - Finding someone out there with the exact bass you want, who wants the exact bass you have is - at best - slim odds! Why not sell the bass, or at least list it for sale (here is a good place to do so!) then with the cash you'll be in a FAR better position to negotiate the purchase of a pre-owned Stingray with anyone selling one. Just my two cents! (Great colour on your Bongo by the way!)

Depending on your financial situation, it's the most cost effective way to introduce someone to an instrument. All the ancillary bits and pieces can be bought from the music shop (strings, straps, bags, plecs etc) and once the new starter has decided they do indeed want to pursue playing an instrument then they can go and buy a new bass that meets their needs and wants as and when they're ready to progress. Getting someone playing an instrument, by any means, is beneficial for music shops. Even if that first instrument isn't bought from them but uses their help and advice to make an informed decision within the second hand market. The new player is far more likely to return to a shop that helped them in the early stages of their playing - we do similar in the motor industry. Capture the customer for the long game. It absolutely works, and works very well. 👍
