Tell a lie... this is the headless 6er I had. Bought it from a Cash Converters of all places for an absolute steal, though it was in a bit of a state. I think @ambient took this off me in trade years back and did the work to get it back to it's former glory.

Pretty sure three of those used to be mine! The single cut 6, the buckeye 6 and the headless 6. Great basses.

Beautiful...do you think that they make a bass version??

Oh yeah, well... err... YOU'RE an ambiguous blob! *runs away and hides under the stairs* -

I count 8 strings on this obviously AI monstrosity! It's a Djentlemans table for sure. -
An example of failing AI from eBay and the failure of the seller to actually check the 'AI' enhanced pictures... It'll improve with time I'm certain, when it becomes sentient it will have humans draw all it's pictures for it.
-
I barely remember owning this bass! I think I've had 4 or 5 Sei basses over the years, all fantastic beasts. Strangely never ended up keeping one for more than a few months though...

See... if humans turn Skynet off all AI needs to do is call you to turn it back on again.

I'll bet you £500 we'll all be killed by robots. Payment due upon successful death.

Have you not seen terminator??

Not yet Tim, not yet... As mentioned in my previous posts "IF AI becomes truly intelligent..."

The consequences will be dire. IF AI does become truly intelligent, we're likely buggered. The absolutely true fact that humans are a HUGELY negative force on the planet will be our undoing IF AI becomes intelligent to the point of understanding that to protect the planet and all other species on it humans must go.
-
If I had any of those 3, I'd give them to it.

Smells like AI to me. SkyNet is coming for us...

Having heard rumours of Ken's 'personality' and knowing first hand the absolute fabulous quality of Brubaker basses, I suspect there's a good deal of truth in what you've said!

Incorrectly wired jack. Take it back to your tech and get them to do it again properly! The battery should only be engaged when the jack is inserted in the socket, sounds very much like it's been wired in such a way that the battery is permanently engaged.

Absolutely, no arguement there whatsoever. His designs clearly appeal to enough people for his business to continue, and as mentioned, his build work looks superb - and the website appears very professional too. Just because the body shape etc. is not my personal cup of tea, it doesn't diminish his skill in building these basses, and I certainly wouldn't be upset if I had the opportunity to play one!

The build quality of the basses and technical ability of the builder look to be second to none. The design aesthetic however is definitely not my cup of tea - the headstock shape is inelegant and the body looks a little clumsy. It's a shame as Mark clearly has a great deal of skill, but the 'look' doesn't feel to be living up to the standard of the build. Genuinely the build quality does look fantastic...

Will Basschat survive the Online Safety Act?

I've been into the future, it's mostly TimR explaining why the flavour profile of Sheba is superior to that of Whiskers. Of course, I fundamentally disagree. -

Will Basschat survive the Online Safety Act?

Look, can we just agree to organise a royal rumble style fight where everyone on basschat piles into a ring and swings punches until one person emerges victorious? Most threads end up being a virtual version of this anyway! It'd be more fun to see it happen in the real world! Fight, fight, fight!!!!! -
Will Basschat survive the Online Safety Act?

Is there no option to have some kind of blanket statement that says 'by using this site we agree to not sue Ped for any infringements of this new ridiculous act'? I for one will find a different reason to sue Ped, I don't need help with that! I also think that Ped, much like Brooks, is an institutional man, and actually can't function outside of prison. The twist to all of this is that this act was designed by Ped to keep him in prison... 'Ped Was Here'. -

I think that comment was more to say that some things that are illegal are so because of the 1% giving the 99% a bad name and some things (slavery) are illegal but still continue to happen despite it being abhorrent.
