  1. If no one else wants any of these, I'm happy to take the rest of them to future proof myself against the need to ever buy any again!
  2. Thanks mate but I believe another BCer has sorted me out now!
  3. @AdhamBassPlayer - if you haven't already got them, I have the direct contact details for the CEO of UPS (UK and Global) and I think their board of directors too, feel free to PM me and I'd be happy to share the contacts. If you send them all a stern but diplomatic email you may find you get a better result.
  4. I for one hate wheels... all my cars have square tyres. The truth is wheels don't actually exist, they were invented by the Democrats to derail Trump. Electricity is a hoax, God is actually responsible for the light that comes out of light bulbs. Fire isn't actually hot at all, or red. It's just a figment of our collective imagination caused by subliminal messages on Ozzy Osborne albums.
  5. I salmon dive into the room from the hallway. There is just enough space to navigate the room without tripping over things!
  6. I don't have anymore 7 strings! Only 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 strings! So unfortunately these wouldn't be of use for me. @bipbip62 - these would be perfect for the Overwater 7.
  7. I had though of that, and I have spliced many a cable in my time! I've made most of my own Speakon/Speakon and Speakon/Jack cables, BUT I don't want to risk côcking up the loom as its all one big set of wires that are physically connected together at the 'brain' end with a strange VGA type input into the brain, and as TourTech don't offer spares (they don't even have contact emails and none of the stockists in this country will give me the contact details for their distributor) if I fudge it, I'm essentially utterly screwed. So a separate adapter is the way forward! Lynx are pretty good value to be fair, they made me some bits for my studio and it worked out cheaper than me buying the individual components and making it myself. So I shall get them to make me something and hope it'll work!! I shall report back with results if successful, if unsuccessful I shall ceaselessly weep until the end of time.
  8. This is a TourTech TT12S kit, so it is a super basic kit where the pedals are indeed beaterless, and I got the second pedal for free from a friend so I'm trying to do this in the cheapest way possible! I have a few various connectors, but the Chinese finger trap style dual female connect i have I think only operates with non-TRS cables as I can't get a sound from the kit when that connect it in play. I've asked Lynx Cables (a decent custom cable company in the UK) to quote me for a single TRS female to dual male TRS outs with one being 3ft and one being 1ft, this in theory should give the reach I need and do the job... hopefully! We shall see!!
  9. Need some advice please! I've just bought a pre-owned electric drumkit with a single kick pedal, a friend of mine has another kick pedal that it literal exactly the same as the one that came with my kit. Both work singularly. The wiring loom that connects the pedals and the pads to the brain of the kit are all essentially one piece, they all feed into one connector that plugs into the brain. It's physically one item, not many individual cables. What I'm wanting to do is use both kick pedals simultaneously as a double kick set up. The only way I can think to do this is with some kind of female input TRS cable that splits to dual male inputs, like the below picture. Does anyone know if A: this would actually work to allow both kicks to function at the same time and B: where I can get such a cable from that has at least 2-3 foot of cable for each of the split male inputs?
  10. You mean you'd rather see an 88 Stingray over my cheap plastic and rubber drumkit??? Madness, absolute madness!! 😫
  11. I picked up a TourTech TT12S Drumkit and a Fender Rumble 15 to play it through from a chap down the road for £120. Can't complain for the price and it just about fits in my tiny tiny studio/office/music/lego room! First music related purchase of 2021!
  12. @ambient - If/When you sell it, let me know!
  13. 4m x 6m, you sir have a football field by comparison! We did 'try' to move house a few months ago, then removed the house from the market due to COVID, we'll eventually move once this is all over and I shall hopefully be able to snag a larger room/garage space! For now, my tiny room serves me well. Wouldn't say no to more space as and when life/the universe permit!
  14. Over the last 6 months or so I've been creating a little home studio is the tiniest of rooms (about 8 times as long as the lower bout of a concert sized acoustic body and about 4 times as wide, so its small!!) It currently houses 16 guitars/basses, 3 amps, a drumkit, a full Cubase recording set up with midi keyboard, monitors, vocal mics, ukuleles, various percussion items, a Helix LT etc etc. So everything one needs to record almost anything! And a fair bit of my Lego collection! Just for funzies, has anyone else shoe-horned this much into a tiny room? Everything, including the drumkit is direct into DAW, so the sound quality of the end product is actually surprisingly good! I mean, its not quite Abbey Road quality, but it's far from terrible!
  15. I think it might have been... That Les Evans was a cool beast, unbelievably heavy though!
  16. I had Vampyre serial number 001 a few years ago, confirmed by Hans Wilfer to be the very first production Vampyre to leave the German build shop. It was an incredible thing... a millions miles from the Rockbass versions as it was built by the custom shop team at the time. Still quite like the look of them! This one I believe: I think I traded it with @alembic1989 years back.
  17. Same guy that's always trying to sell smashed up gear for a million pounds a piece.
  18. You need more red rugs. Also, you appear to have some kind of legless slug-dog atop your sofa.
  19. Keep a bloody good record of that transaction @walshy. All MM would need to do is claim two lots of money came out of his account to refund you and that you kept them without returning them. We know MM is a tricky character so make sure you get absolute confirmation from his side, or an email from your bank if he won't confirm, to ensure you have undisputed proof you transferred that money back to him.
  20. E-cheques bounce in the same manner as a physical one. You can issue a cheque for £1,000,000 with £1 in your bank, it'll take up to 7 days before that cheque bounces. He's just buying time, thats all.
  21. I think this may have once been mine for a short period, if so it's a cracking bass! If not, it's a cracking bass! 😁
  22. As in Mushroom Studios at Lubbards farm? Used to be our practice area till COVID came into the picture! Hopefully we'll return soon!
  23. @Spewy - What is that 'thing' on the wall in the top left of the picture??
