1. I imagine if Guy Pratt is still an active member here then he's going to trump most of us!! 😄
2. If you like the GK tone I would try a MB Fusion out, I've just replaced my Tonehammer 500 with one and I'm very pleased with it. my previous two class d heads were the TH500 and a GB Shuttle 9.2, the TH did a lovely warm vintage tone, the Shuttle did a great, modern hi-fi type of tone, the MB Fusion does both. Paired with a Barefaced BIg Twin 2 for gigs, it's plenty powerful enough for my needs.
3. Just picked up this GK MB Fusion, used it for a couple of gigs so far, and have to say the combination of Bongo, MB Fusion and Barefaced BT2 is absolutely monstrous! 4. Had a good gig last night, lots of dancing, re-booked, and got told by the lady in charge of the venue that she will be sending our details to all the other pubs in the chain and recommending they book us! Also first gig with the GK MB Fusion, used my Bongo 4HS into my Big Twin 2 and it sounded monstrous! Got another gig tonight so might give the Warwick Streamer a trial through it tonight. Very happy!

Kev's Feedback

Just did a amp trade with Kev, great guy to deal with, would not hesitate to deal with Kev again.
6. I picked one of these up in a trade for my TH500 with Kev last night. Been playing about with it today and so far I love it. Granted, I've only played it solo'd at home, so not at high volume or in a band mix, but it is everything I hoped it would be and more! Update: Sh*t a brick these things sound good! Neighbours have gone out so had chance to work it a bit harder through my BF Big Twin 2, I think you're going to be very very pleased with it!
7.
Cut out the middleman and just buy it! Seriously though, this amp has something for everyone, it's a cracker. Unfortunately I've just spent £225 on my car, so unless something remarkable happens it doesn't look like it's coming to discreet towers, unfortunately.
I think it would be perfect for me, unfortunately I'd need to sell my TH500 to finance it, and with a busy few weeks of gigging I can't really risk being amp-less! ☹️
8. Really need to try one of these at some point!
9. Enjoying the TH500, but it doesn't seem to stop me looking at GK Fusions, to the point I tried having a deal with the Fusion 550 which was in the classifieds recently. Still gassing for a Yamaha Attitude ltd, and I can also add the 40th anniversary Spector Euro 4LX in blue, and a Dingwall NG-2 to the gas list too!
10. Steve Vai at the Academy in Bristol in a couple of weeks.
11. Sold a GB Shuttle 9.2 to Paul recently. Very nice chap, easy to deal with. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with Paul again.
12. Hi Paul, Yes that would be fine, somewhere around Westbury/Warminster I'm guessing would be half way-ish. I'm on late shift this week though, so Saturday would be my first opportunity realistically. Lee
13. It's a godsend for me. My back trouble has flared up again recently and have been having sessions with the osteopath again. I'm 45, slightly overweight still but consider myself to be reasonably fit, I run, cycle, play football etc. I did a gig last night using my Music Man Bongo, TH500 and Barefaced Big Twin 2. It sounded huge, so for me, no tonal compromise compared to previous rigs I've had. I was home alone when I had to load the car to head to the gig, if I was still using my old Warwick WCA cabs I honestly don't think I would've been able to lift them at the moment!
14. Decided to put this up for sale as I'm going to stick with my recently acquired TH500 for a while. This has been a great little amp, served me really well but I can't really justify keeping both of these and an ABM500 at the moment. Recently put a new JJ 12AX7 valve in. As I'm sure you're aware, great clean hifi type core tone, but with the ability of dialling in some valve girth! Amp is in really good condition and comes with a neat little Benq carry case. Will post at buyers expense or happy to meet up within reasonable distance of Bristol. Not looking for any trades at present. Thanks. 15.
preorders for M7 are open, btw
That is a lovely looking bass, I'm so impressed with my V7 for the price, it's very tempting to add a M7 to the flock!
16.
Here's a quick update to my rig. Got the Ashdown 810, from ern500evo, fixed up to a useable state. It sounds bloody fantastic to me...
Glad to see the old girl in action again!
17. Well this was all very predictable wasn't it!! 😀
18. If you're ever up in Bristol, you're welcome to come and try my Big Twin 2.
