Some of you guys are taking PC to the extreme, the OP always posts threads about Bands/Songs he loves and they are vary varied, give him a break. Surely if anyone wanted to seek a something sexual, and low quality image of someone playing bass is not the place to start. Im a big Huw fan BTW.
I would agree with this, bubinga5 always posts up some excellent tunes, stuff that he feels passionate about.

Huw is such a great player. He always really nails the groove and not just the notes.
I'm close now. White or sunburst?
I was all set, it was just down to natural or sunburst, so after much consideration I ordered the antique white! To be fair I had been looking at Olympic white Squier jazzes so it wasn't a complete shock! 😀 -
Well I certainly didn't expect that!!!
£7k!!! That would buy......
A stunning custom shop Warwick?!
A genuine Sterling or stingray pick guard is about £18 from strings and things, get a spare and fit/make a cheap thumb rest to the spare guard and keep the stock one safe. $40 for that Ebay gadget?!
+1 I read a thread on the EBMM forum where someone was finding the same problem with a Bongo 4H, he bought a cheap spare pickguard and a thumb rest, used blu-tack to experiment with positioning of the thumb and then fixed it on once he'd decided on the best position for it.

Can't wait for my antique white V7 to arrive! 😀

I really like it, I just fancied a change and much like yourself wasn't using many of the features. If for any reason I had to sell my Shuttle 9.2 and go back to this I'd have no qualms about it, I never had any issues with it at all. I had the 450 before and this is a completely different sounding beast.
It also used to be mine and I'm regretting it straight away too... what a silly bollocks!
What?! You've sold it already? Something awesome must've come along, you were so impressed with the Spector!
Haha, the power of basschat strikes again :-) what did you go for?
The V7 4 string in Antique white/Rosewood. Been looking at the Oly white VMJ a lot lately, so thought i'd give one of these a try! Had a VMP and a TC RH750 to move on so this just gave me the kick up the arse to get on with advertising them and release some funds! -

Sod it, trigger pulled!! -
Time to move on my RH750, it's been a great amp but i fancied a change and am now using my Shuttle 9.2 for everything.and this is too good to just be sat around as a spare. It's in very good condition, some of the buttons are starting to crack but i have a full set of replacement buttons that will come with it. I haven't fitted them as it seemed pointless opening the amp up while the buttons are still in working condition. I also have 5 spare control knobs to go with it, the newer type ones which are a vast improvement on the originals. I have already fitted 2 so the remaining 5 will mean a complete new set as and when they require changing. Amp will come with footswitch, midi cable, TC gigbag, manual and original box. There are some very slight marks on the underside of the amp casing but apart from that, condition is excellent. Not looking for any trades on this one as i really don't need anything at the moment. Preference would be for you to come try it out and collect from me in Bristol, i have a Barefaced Big Twin 2 you can try it through or you can bring your own cab if you wish. I'm happy to meet up for a hand over in person within say 40 miles of Bristol but i appreciate that's not convenient for some so am happy to post at buyers expense, you can of course arrange your own courier should you prefer. Would prefer cash on collection or bank transfer please. Any questions feel free to ask. **SOLD** Here i have an immaculate Squier VM P bass in Amber finish with maple neck. I bought this to do some recording for a friend and ended up using my Warwick instead, and it's been sat on a stand in my music room ever since. I've only played it twice, The previous owner bought it for the same reason, to do some home recording and sold it on as soon as it was surplus to requirements. As a result it's in virtually as new condition, it's never been gigged, in fact it's never been out of the house! the only marks i can find on it are some pick playing marks on the scratchplate. It's got fairly new sounding strings on it which are D'Addario judging by the multi coloured ball ends. I've got a generic Stagg gig bag that can go with it and still have the box it was sent to me in so am happy to post at your expense. If you'd prefer to use your own courier then that's absolutely fine, and you are of course welcome to come try it out/collect from my house in Bristol if that is preferable, the kettle will be on or beer in fridge! I'm happy to meet up within reasonable distance (70 mile round trip) if that is easier for you. Obviously i'd prefer to hand it over in person but as i said i'm happy to send it. Not looking for any trades on this as i'm about to order a Sire Marcus Miller jazz type bass and this will just go to part repleneshing that outlay. Any questions feel free to ask.
Some excellent quotes in there... " In jazz bass with a ash body can be quite a tendency to obesity watch, especially the Fender originals from the 70s are partially heavy as lead"
😄 When I bought my Bongo the website was in Dutch, I translated it using Google and it actually made even less sense in English!! -
Are there any sound samples available?? Thanks. I think I'm convinced enough, time to get my arse in gear and photograph the Squier VM P bass I've got sat being unused upstairs and get it sold. That can go towards it and I'll feel like I don't have to justify it to myself if I'm moving something on! 😀 -

Dave, how does it compare tone wise to your Squier's? I keep looking at the V7 4 string in the same colour as yours, was just wondering how it compares to Squier's VM and CV jazzes as it sits between the 2 price wise. -
It's new to me, but was bought new a year ago...
That should have the updated knobs on then, so no issues.
Just put a paper bag over everybody's head, play a recording of some nice music and have a crafty Sherman.
With this kind of cunning thinking you are my new hero! -
That's excellent customer service! I haven't noticed this problem on my RH750 yet (but I've only had it less than a week!). I'll keep a eye open for my knobs dropping off now...
I think the later ones have better quality knobs, so if yours is a newer one you should be fine.
