1.
How much for the Korg?
£100 including UK delivery.
 2.
Alex emailed me yesterday asking if I can wait for something more special coming in August. So I said I can wait. How far away is August?
Think I had the same conversation with him, it's so tempting!!!
 3. Price drop, now £225 for the head on its own, or £325 with the rack case, power strip and Korg DTR2000 tuner.
 4. The 115 is on hold for now. 411 still available for £150, or as a package with a ABM500Evo RC, 4u Gator rack unit with fitted 4 way power strip, and a Korg DTR2000 rack tuner for £450.
 5. I've got one of Warwick's rock cases for my Streamer, it's not fitted but it does come with two semi-circular inserts which you place either side of the body to stop it moving around. The Streamer fits perfectly. I'll see if I can find out the model number of it, if not I'll take a couple of pics of it so you can see which one it is.
 6. Warwick WCA 411 pro and a Warwick WCA115 pro. Both 8 ohm and in very good condition. I bought these from a Warwick endorsee and they have been well looked after, the 115 in particular has seen minimal use. The only gripe is the HF horn adjuster on the 411 is slightly bent, it makes no difference to the operation at all, and tbh i've resisted the temptation to straighten it through fear of it snapping. They work really well as a pair, huge amounts of bottom end, well defined mids and crisp highs. From Warwick site: WCA 411 Pro (8 ohms) Plenty of bass with fast response and well defined mids. Good as standalone, or in a pair, with the WCA 115 Pro or WCA 211 Pro. The adjustable HF horn provides a clear attack and brilliance.

Power rating: 600W (max. 800W)
8 ohms (also available with 4 ohms)
106dB
4 x 10" speakers (power rating 150W, max. 200W, 8 ohms, 94dB, resonant frequency: 50Hz, frequency range: 45Hz-3500Hz)
HF horn with attenuator (power rating 30W, max. 40W, 8 ohms, 95dB, resonant frequency: 2,5kHz, frequency range: 1,2kHz-20kHz)
Bass reflex housing
Weight: 39 kg
Dimensions (W/H/D): 0,62 x 0,67 x 0,49 m
WCA 115 Pro Fundamental bass with a well balanced midrange. A great woofer, and standalone for deep, fat tones.

Power rating 300W (max. 400W)
8 ohms
98 dB
1 x 15" speaker (power rating 300W, max. 400W, 8 ohms, 98 dB, resonant frequency: 35Hz, frequency range: 30Hz-3000Hz)
Bass reflex housing
Weight: 29 kg
Dimensions (W/H/D): 0,62 x 0,67 x 0,49 m
Due to the size and weight of these i'd rather not post them. But if they sell as a pair at the asking price i'd be prepared to travel 75 miles (ish) to meet up at no extra cost. I'm based in Bristol and you are more than welcome to come and try them out. Not looking for any trades as the sale is to finance a new lightweight cab to go with my RH450. I also have a Ashdown ABM500RC, Korg DTR200, Gator 4u rack case complete with power strip if anyone is looking for a complete rig! I only have a pic of the 411 at the moment as the 115 is at our rehearsal room, but as i say the 115 has had the least use of the two of them and is in top condition. I'm going to the rehearsal room tomorrow so can get some pics of it then. If you would like pictures of any specific part of them just pm me your email address and i'll send them to you. Thanks for looking. Lee
 7. Here i have my Ashdown ABM500 Evo RC, the rack mounted chrome front version. It's an early UK built model, with two seperate high/low inputs rather rhan one switchable input like the later models. Also please note that this model does not have the on board compressor. I bought it from a pro from a well known band (well, as long as you're 40ish!)so it was always serviced by Ashdown, and since i've had it it's always lived in a Gator 4U ABS rack unit. I gigged it for several years with no reliability issues whatsoever, and i've heard people say these amps had a lack of volume but i never found it wanting in that department! It's certainly louder into the same cabs as the 500w Warwick tubepath i also had. I've recently changed the Warwick head for a RH450 and it just seems daft to have this as a back up head when it's much heavier than the TC. I'm based in Bristol and have always got cabs in the house so if anyone wants to come and try it out over a cuppa/beer then you're more than welcome. I'd rather not post it tbh but if it fetches the asking price i'm prepared to travel 75 miles (ish) to meet up at no extra cost. I have a 4U Gator abs case for it which also has a Korg DTR2000 in and a power strip, and if anyone wants to take the whole lot together i'll do it for £375. If the amp sells by itself then i'll list those seperately but for now i'll give people the oppoptunity to take them all together. I also have a Warwick WCA411 pro and a Warwick WCA115 pro (both 8ohm) which i'll be putting up an ad for later if anyone is interested in a complete rig. I bought them from a Warwick endorsee and they are pretty much immaculate, the 115 has had minimal use. I'd be looking for £175 for the 411 and £150 for the 115, or £300 for the pair, those prices are fairly firm considering the condition of the cabs. Not looking for any trades thanks as this sale is to finance a lightweight cab to go with the RH450. My apologies for the picture quality but tmy laptop with my camera software on is in being repaired so i've had to use my phone camera. If anyone wants any specific photos just pm me your email address and i'll send you them. Thanks for looking.
 8. Mr Rabbit: " so this is the band then? I bet U2 are shitting themselves!" Outspan: "I see you're still wearing the blue suede shoes Mr Rabbit" Mr Rabbit: "F**k off carrot head"! Priceless!!
 9.
I have to say that I find my ABM sounds rather good through my Compact.
I know there's not a great deal of love for Ashdown around here, but I used my ABM500RC for years with no problems, it's just that since I got my RH450 in a bid to make my rig lighter, the ABM has been sat idle in my house. May as well move it on, along with some cabs and other bits to finance an S15!
 10.
Now if you get wheels on the back edge of the cab & a clip on the top, you could tilt the cab back, attach the clip to your belt & that's you a full one trip wonder!
I think the S15 has wheels so all I need Is a belt clip!!
 11. I've recently converted to an RH450 from a 500w Warwick Tubepath and couldn't be happier. I use it in a couple of covers bands, one doing more classic rock(Sabbath, zeppelin etc) and the other doing a more varied mix like Duran Duran, RHCP and it sounds great. The presets are handy, as are the on-board compressor, tubetone and tuner, which have enabled me to ditch rack tuner and drive/comp pedals. It's great having head, speaker cables, foot switch and instrument cable in one little bag, I have a cab permanently at our rehearsal space so I just grab the bag, one bass and I'm off, no heavy rack or extra lead bags to carry. I'm not fully lightweight yet as still using my Warwick 411 cab, but hopefully the RH450 will soon be paired with a Barefaced S15, for a complete one trip monster rig, cab in one hand, bass in other, TC bag over shoulder. As has been said though, there are a few people here who have owned and disliked the TC so if possible trying one out (preferably alongside some other class D heads) would be beneficial.
 12. I think once I move my ABM and some cabs on I shall be ordering one of these! The temptation to just do it now is very strong, but I'm not sure even my very understanding wife would be entirely happy with 3 full bass rigs living in our dining room, so a cull is needed before the S15 trigger can be pulled!
 13. The guy I bought my RH450 from had a SR1205, I played it to try the amp out and ended up asking him more questions about the bass than the amp! Beautiful bass to play, lovely finish, well made, and the low B sounded killer.
 14. Get yourself an iRig for about £20, download an amp app like amplitube or ampkit to a smart phone, purchase the Ashdown or Trace Elliot set up in the app for £3.99 and away you go. You can play along to any music you have on your phone or tablet through headphones. I'm only suggesting this as you said you're unlikely to be jamming with other people. Me personally, I'd probably ignore everything I've just said and buy that Trace Elliot combo!
 15. Foo Fighters, seen them live loads of times and always come away thinking it would be my dream job.
 16. Well last night wasn't quite as productive as I'd hoped! I ended up running a bit late so didn't take the 4x10 with me, thinking I had my 1x15, 2x10 and 8x10 there to choose from. Get there and the 8x10 is in a different room with the castors removed (it got damaged by someone there, so they are looking at repairing it for me), then realised I only have one speakon-speakon cable with me, i had a speakon-jack cable too but the Warwick cabs don't have jack inputs. Decide that 2x10 probably not gonna be enough with 2 guitars and a psychotic drummer so plump for the 1x15, which isn't ideal as I've never used that cab on its own so have nothing to compare to. Anyway, start with everything flat, bit of top end boost, and treble slightly boosted on my bass and have to say it was pretty good for an "off the shelf" setting. Finding sonic space with our 2 guitarists isn't always easy, one uses a slightly overdriven mid heavy tone while the other uses a more scooped dirtier tone, but the RH sat well in the mix. Needed a fair amount of top end boost on my bass for some tracks but given that my Tubepath head had bucket loads of top end available i knew i'd be needing a bit more eq to get the desired "sizzle" for some tracks but on the whole I'm happy. Obviously the more I time I spend with it in a live environment then the more familiar I'm gonna be with making necessary changes but on the whole I'm glad I went for it and bought the RH450. I think more worrying is the fact I've been sat here for the last 45 minutes on the Barefaced website staring at an S15, and I've just happened to sell an old car I had knocking about fr £1500!!
 17. My last 3 heads have been a Trace AH350SM, Ashdown ABM500 Evo and a Warwick Tubepath 5.1, I've never had to work any of them particularly hard, even when running at 8ohm into a single cab alongside a loud drummer. So I'm hoping that unless the RH is drastically under powered its not going to prove too much of an issue.
 18. I must say I've been impressed with how easily I've got a sound I like while just fooling around with it through my Warwick 4x10 at home. Everything pretty much flat, little bit of tubetone, with just a little bit of treble boost on my Warwick and it sounds great, really balanced. Obviously the proof will be how it sits in the band mix tonight but I'm sure it'll be fine! My 8x10, 1x15 and 2x10 are all at our rehearsal space at the moment so I might chuck the 4x10 in the car and have a little play about with various cab set ups while I'm there too.
 19. Another satisfied customer, I never use anyone else.
 20. I was looking forward to my first rehearsal with my new RH450 tonight, until I read this thread!!
 21. Different cab I know, but the drivers in my Mag 810 are blue.
