    im new to using pedals ive allways just been a plug in and play kinda guy, bassicaly im looking to get a few together and start exerimenting abit. im mainly looking for an attack pedal trying to keep costs down because im only experimenting and then if i get on with it then maybe spend a bit more later on. recomend any other sorts of pedals? just cool sonding cheapos?

    Some of you may or may not know but im in aband called Polo Lounge, last night we were booked to support Mona at the kasbah in Coventry. For those who haven't heard of Mona, they are currently playing with Kings Of Leon at there uk shows. This may not be a big deal for some people but im super chuffed about it, it our first big show with a big band. Any midlands dwellers out their its on the 28th of june at the Kasbah. only £5 a ticket. COME!

    I bought a microkorg a few months back just to play around with in my band and it really doesnt work for us, so sticking it on here for trades as im not in much of a rush to get rid. Its in great condition no cracks chips and all works fine, still boxed with instructions and vecoder. Will consider anything just as a new toy, basses, amps, cabs, acoustic guitars electric guitars anything at all just drop me a PM with you offers. im bassed in bulkington near coventry if anyone would like to come see it and have a brew.

    strange because like sibob said his later one has raised poles so i cant see why they would change it for a couple of years :s

    I offend bassists by playing bass. Ive fallen over more times than i can count. Ive danced with drunk old men at a family festival in kenilworth. (also drunk) Been so drunk ive had to lie on the floor. My other half says i dont dance i weeble. I was in a band and the guitarist was desperate to play american idiot so he started playing and the rest of the band joined in so i refused threw my bass up found out the celing was alot lower than i thought and hit the roof bass come back down hit the floor and put a huge crack in my bass. I do wonder about myself. :s

    Im currently trying to sell mine and im unsure after speaking to someone whether the pickups are the original ones im not sure as im not the original owner and it wasnt mentioned on the sale. bassicly the query is whether the poles are ment to be raised out of the casing. here some pics [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=99260"]sale thread.[/url] cheers sweeneyjimbob

    Temporarily withdrawn this item, reason being is that i have just recieved a helpful message from a fellow basschater. Bassicaly i didnt know that the poles on the pups should be flat not raised on a US standard. i also didnt mention that it has had a different scratch plate added and a neck pup cover added which doesnt come with it. if any one can help identify the PUPS then that would be great. They have no markings on accept on the bridge pup it has VM hand written on the underside.

    ive wondered about this a few times because a syou might have notice from below the band im in is called polo lounge, which is a chain of gay bars, which we didnt know about at the time, we got it when the singer seen it in the fear and loathing in las vegas book and thought it was cool. also we dont spell it as 2 words we spell it as one like POLOLOUNGE. (no idea why :s). think we might have problems?
