1. ** Note - Headphone Amp now sold ** Both virtually unused (domestic only), and in perfect working order. Have original box, manuals etc. for the Amp, miscellaneous box and reprinted manualfor the DI. Looking for about £23 (posted) for the DI, and £35 (posted) for the Headphone Amp. (I'm reckoning around £4 each for postage, so deduct that if you can pickup from Brighton/Hove.) I'd advise not buying the amp if you're intending using headphones less than say 32-60 ohms if you'll be cranking it up - definitely *no* 8/16 ohm cans! Cheers, Stewart
2. [s]It'll never get used now that I've bought an old Aria... A picture would be exactly the same as any advert, so I won't bother ! (There's not a mark on it, or its box - it's entirely as new) £40 posted (or offers thereabouts) ? Paypal would be good... Cheers, Stewart[/s] Never mind - I'll keep it!
3. I really like the look of this one: ATK700
4. For a little more, I'd recommend Beyer DT231s (they're around £25) - but phones are a very personal thing - try and check them out first.

Nah, it was me with the Wimbish - nice to meet the bloods (ox and axe ) and everyone else A lot to absorb, but things that struck me were the GK combo (phenomenal grunt and clarity), the weight (lack of) on the Tech21 stuff, a lovely red 5 string Fender Jazz, the Lakland P/J, and the sound of the sunburst Wal (not sure I heard the black one at all...) Thanks to OBBM for putting it together
6. Have you tried disconnecting the speakers while powering-on? Can't think of anything else temporary that would help...
7.
Good lad...... Impact driver near a guitar? Woooooo hoooooo easy tiger!
Actually, my first thought was: Hacksaw through the strap button and the screw shaft, then take it out with pliers and fit another - but figured one tap with an impact driver might shift it. Failing that, a shaped charge perhaps...
8. Most car mechanics should have one - you can set it to tighten or untighten, then you smack it with a hammer, and it transfers much of the forward force to a twist...
9. Try an impact driver first...
10. T-Cut's probably your best bet

Pedal Board?!

How about one of these: Warwick Pedal Board ?
12. If you can't figure it out, chances are the preamp is off - just push the volume control in (towards the body) and (if it's got a battery in it) the controls should be obvious
13. Thanks for that, I'm going to have to get me one of them, I reckon! Mind you, they'd shift a few more with photos like that on their site... Cheers, Stewart
14. Hi Ped, Nice collection you have there! I'm considering a bass-mute myself (for a neck-through ibanez) - have you tried one yet, and how do you rate it? Cheers, Stewart

16. I'm not familiar with the Pod, but my guess is would run at least four or five power amps - most preamp/line driver stages would cope fine.

I'll try and bring at least a Sansamp Programmable Bass DI and Ibanez Doug Wimbish 4
That's 9 already and The Beedster is up for this as well (aren't you Chris), so that'll be the 10!
+1
19. A few tunes that are very simple but quirky: Addicted to love (Robert Palmer) Exodus (Bob Marley) In the midnight hour (Wilson Picket) Soulfinger (The Bar-Kays) I just drop the treble on the stereo and play-along...
20. Hmm - it's nice, but it hasn't got the words FAT or FUNK on the front....

I'm up for either date - work might possibly stop me, but it's unlikely.
22. If I could justify it, I think I'd go for one of these: http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/page/shop/fl...3928/a/r/e/base Looks pretty nice too
23. I think my favourite is probably Neotech - it's almost as comfy as the Strapp but weighs a lot less (the Comfort Strapp really is quite heavy...) There don't seem to be many UK outlets though.
24. Will you kitchen hobs just get off your Myleen Klasses and sort it out! What a Blackpool rockup!
