  1. Just black and red at the moment. Red like Geezer's. This pic was taken seconds after he bashed his hand on one of the pointy bits.
  2. I intend to use one for tender afternoon coffee shop gigs. Through a Boss HM-2.
  3. I'm desperately excited that BC Rich have finally reissued the Ironbird. It's one of my favourite bass designs ever. Despite not playing much metal anymore, I still hope to get one and use it as often as possible.
  4. I think they've been empty since John Entwistle died. I appreciate Pino saved the day but blimey, a more unsuitable player for The Who would be hard to find.
  5. On a more serious note, are bass and shoulder ok?
  6. That's a hell of a bargain!
  7. A 301 which I'm now the proud owner of! With rounds it's an absolute Rickenbacker slayer, all the clank and growl you could ever need. Magnificent basses.
  8. This has made me laugh harder than it probably should have. Congratulations on your almost Shakespearian diction when the speaker goes.
  9. Dead Again - Type O Negative
  10. I've just had a look at the Ibanez Iron Label basses - from what I can see, the only thing separating them from the standard BTB/SDGR is the matt finish. They'll both excel at a clanky tone if that's what you're after but not because of anything unique to those basses. Take any extreme-looking bass and turn the tone down and it'll play Motown.
  11. Gently Johnny - Paul Giovanni
  12. Good luck with that...
  13. I'm very excited by the Tele bass... I don't think I'd need one but it's lovely to see it reissued.
  14. Could be "new bassamp day" 😁
  15. Friars Eve - Metallica
  16. NAD surely?
  17. Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration - Pig Iron
  18. Come To The Sabbat - Black Widow
  19. I'm waiting for a Bison too... next year, they said. If the current reissues are anything to go by I expect it'll be pretty similar the previous model from 20-odd years ago.
  20. In It For The Money - Supergrass
  21. Is Colin Allen still with us? As much as I love Pierre Van Der Linden, his jazz interpretation of Cathedrale is... questionable.
  22. This would be amazing, there are very few bands that can touch them live.
