  1. At this price, I don't need much persuading! I'll give it a go. I've already got the Super Fuzz and Tremolo, both of which are excellent

  14. Not content with the usual out of tune piano, some wonderful people have installed a pipe organ at London Bridge Station. I played it earlier, sadly very briefly, but it's always been a lifelong dream of mine to play one, so I'm very happy to tick that one off the list. Overjoyed, in fact. When those low bass pedals hit... 😳 My keyboard repertoire is rather limited, but if anybody heard House With No Door by Van Der Graaf Generator blasting out from the depths of London Bridge today - that was me. Here's my eldest about to have a go but getting too embarrassed.

  24. I'm not a huge fan of old albums being remixed into 5.1 - the Yes remixes from several years ago were particularly bad, relegating Chris Squire's massive bass grind to a minimal role in the centre speaker. IIRC the Queen remix from that time treated John Deacon in a similar way. I have recently listened to the Japanese 5.1 remix of Tomita's Planets and it's just mind-blowing.
