Absolutely. The Leeds drive flavour is beautiful, even when pushed hard. I find the VT bass very harsh and clanky in comparison, although it can be very sweet at lower gain settings.

They've released a demo of the Hiwatt model, complete with a bit of bass! I'm very happy to hear that the drive sounds just like my Leeds pedal.

It's wearing DR Hi Beams at the moment and they're just starting to go dull - 14 months later! Admittedly I haven't been gigging it or anything like that.

And in just over two months, I've changed my mind completely! My current obsession is this Warwick Thumb. It was a present from my wife for my 40th birthday, so it's already a very special instrument, but it's just so tactile and responsive to play. A deeply rewarding instrument. Thanks @vincbt!
