But surely from the seller's POV, the OP was never a confirmed buyer? The seller had some correspondence with a potential buyer who asked for some more pics - an entirely reasonable request. If someone on here posted a rant about having an experience similar to the chap selling the Hamer I imagine they would be brought down to earth pretty quickly. Nobody has suggested you shouldn't be able to voice your opinion on this matter, but if you think the seller has acted reasonably, I would be wary of getting into a discussion with you about something you were selling for fear of being labelled a time waster. Looking at it from the other side, have you never made initial enquiries about an item for sale somewhere and subsequently decided against it?

Bravo @Lozz196! As for the covers, they probably will get in the way. But to me, a vintage-style Precision never quite looks fully dressed without them - covers off with just the screws showing either side of the bridge and pickup is still a comforting sight!

It looks like you have the Jazz set - narrow pickup cover, large bridge cover designed to conceal the bridge pickup. The Precision set have a smaller bridge cover and larger pickup cover.

I've nothing against a 5 string Rick but I have no idea what planet they're on with those pickups... That said, a video surface a while back of one being played, and it did sound very Rick so something's being done right!

Do add the covers, but not those ones - get some Precision ones. It's a lovely bass - probably my favourite Precision finish. I just struggle with that headstock!
