  1. Beg pardon?
  2. I tried that before. The offer was lower than I had hoped, unsurprisingly, but to their credit they were honest and suggested I'd be better off selling privately. Much better than the time Anderton's offered me £75 for my Epiphone Elitist EB3...
  3. Jimi at Planet Guitar. He's worked on all my basses and he does amazing work. https://www.planetguitar.org.uk
  4. Didn't you sell me a Markbass many moons ago?
  5. My current band certainly noticed when I turned up with my Rickenbacker. Our singer is absolutely disgusted by them.
  6. It's an absolute racket.
  7. That sounds a lot like my Tech 21 Dug in places.
  8. I've always taken that with a pinch of salt. If you pick the string then hit it with your thumb you get a pinch harmonic - something CS certainly used as an effect from time to time, but it certainly wasn't a main part of his usual tone. If you look at the Master Licks (?) Video on YouTube CS describes and demonstrates thd technique.
  9. He's back!
  10. Geoffrey masters Wakeman and Moraz's keyboard parts.
  11. That sounds so enticing. But it does seem very expensive for what it is.
  12. Looks like a Jedson 😆
  13. If the singer ever Googles himself he might make the decision for you...
  14. Recently updated to boot!
  15. Rickenbacker International Corporation Corporation?
  16. It's so good to hear these concerts presented properly after years of (admittedly pretty good) bootlegs. So impressed I was with Pegg's tone I actually started a thread about it a few years ago...
  17. I'm a massive Squire/Rickenbacker disciple, but my favourite bass tone on Drame is the Thunderbird.
  18. I've watched that video more times than I care to remember... 😆
  19. Exactly! The Slipknot one is disastrous.
  20. Another comedy demo but better tones on display than the Slipknot one. At least they twiddle the knobs a bit in this one.
