1.
Can you tell me how much she weighs? Does she comes with a case? Cheers!
No case. I'll check the weight and let you know.
 2.
Is it sale only?
Yeah, sale only. I'll amend the op.
 3. I picked this up on here a few weeks ago and it completely re-ignited a passion for the Jazz Bass. It's a fabulous bass, MIM and dating from around 1999/2000 I believe. It's in superb condition with just a couple of very minor niggles I have captured in the pics below - there is a light scratch to the finish beside the bottom strap button, and a previous owner has been a bit sloppy when drilling the body for the bridge cover, resulting in two small holes next to each other. The cover still fits securely, and if you prefer to put the screw back into the hole the second hole isn't really noticeable. No other body wear I can see, and the neck is pristine. It's an absolute joy to play and sounds fantastic. It's only up for sale as I have a Road Worn on the way. I have the bridge and pickup covers too if you want them. A previous owner has also fitted Dimarzio pickups. The bass is located in Dartford - test drives welcome, collection preferred or can deliver/meet if not too far. Trades considered! 4. I'm having to put a few things up for sale to help fund my incoming Road Worn, so first up is my humble little Classic Vibe Precision. I only picked this up on here a few weeks back and I've been amazed by it - the build quality, tone and playability is fantastic. These Classic Vibes really are quite special and I reckon I'll regret selling it but needs must. I reckon it's worth more than I've put it up for but that's what I paid so there it is. The bass is in the rare Sonic Blue finish, now discontinued, and is in as-new condition. Bass is located in Dartford, Kent - test drives welcome, collection preferred or can deliver/meet up if not too far. No trade offers please! 5. Foderas do nothing for me but it would be very hypocritical of me to comment on their pricing as I'm an Alembic nut! What surprises me is that BGM are reviewing Fodera yet again...
 6.
Not all black, like the beauties above, but do I get points for quantity ?
LOVE that Shark!
 7.
... which, at long last, brings me to one of my favourite Macca bass-lines: Back In The USSR (hope you didn't all fall asleep in the meantime).
I've got a horrible feeling that was Lennon on the Bass VI...
 8. Not everyone who plays a signature bass does so because of the name on the headstock.
 9. There's no reason why the Scorpio shouldn't make an excellent slapper - so, when slapping, what is it about the sound of the Status that you prefer to the Peavey?
 10. I don't think I've ever heard a Ken Smith. I'm intrigued now.
 11.
I'd really like to see someone like steve di Giorgio, Neil Murray, or even someone like lemmy make appearances at the show. Considering the artists we have already seen at the show over the years, there are some real challenges to keep the standard high!!
DiGiorgio would be amazing. I can't imagine Lemmy responding too well to being asked to do his own Masterclass though! I would love to see Colin Hodgkinson, now currently with Ten Years After, and I reckon JJ Burnel would go down a storm.
 12. I want one of these. This thread isn't helping! How 'relic'd' is the neck - do they bash it about a bit to give it a few knocks or is it pristine? I'm not bothered by a bit of wear to the body but not to the neck...
 13.
Bloody Sex on Fire..............grr ffs!!!
It's one off our most popular too. It's a wretched song but it works.
 14. I recognise the pictures but can't put names to most of them... Same as real life really. I'm on there though, which warmed my soul.
 15.
Many thanks for all the replies guys. I had a band rehearsal last night, so thought I'd reply after seeing how that went. Good news in that it is fundamentally a good bass. My last MiM I referred to had no depth in the sound & this one thankfully does. The neck is very playable & overall the condition is good. Minimal fret wear & virtually no marks ding wise. All in all, as much as could have wanted as the basis for the mods I have planned. It could have done with a bit of a once over before it left the shop though - loose & crackly jack socket & both pots were not tight so both controls wobbled, one noticeably. Sorted those before I went out & polished the frets (they were very matted). With the capacitor used on MiM's, I was expecting a lifeless tone control so no surprises there, but even with virtually dead strings, it sounded good in the rehearsal session. A black standard P bass is hardly gear porn excitement, so I'll only put up one picture. I'll post again when the mods have been done (assuming they go well!!)
Beauty!
 16. This does seem out of character for GG. I would take it higher - maybe contact the manager?
