1.
Unusual to see a two pickup passive Shark.
Ain't it just! Lovely though.
2. Nice. Refreshing to see some honest gritty pick playing after endless taste and charisma-free slapfests. Great tone too.
3. Yeah, drop B. The standard nu-metal bass tone.
4.
These are such good basses. Practically giving it away. Hope it goes to a good home - would have had it myself but I am really trying to be good. The fact that I have hovered over these images for a good five minutes, makes me think I am not cured yet. Good luck. Cheers.
They are fantastic basses. This one's been with me for years. Their value will probably rocket in a few years knowing my luck!
5.
Hi. Beatiful! What's the weight?
Not sure - I'll find out later.
6. I used to have one just like it. Smashing basses indeed! GLWTS
7. WITHDRAWN FROM SALE - a moment of lunacy, now recovered from. 8. Here's one I know I'll regret later on! My recently acquired Fernandes FAB180 - Alembic, Series I copy, early 80s. Fantastic condition for age, a couple of minor knocks to body edge. Neck pristine. Stunning build quality, through neck. Sounds remarkably like 'the real thing' - stereo output, active filter electronics. Incredibly versatile, endless tones in this thing! Comes with slightly tatty but functional OHSC and original external power supply. Rare as you like - I picked it up for £900 so that is what I'll let it go for - although in my opinion it is worth far more, it really is stunning. . Located in Dartford, collection preferred or can deliver around the M25. Can ship at buyer's cost. TRADES - Spectors, Spectors, Spectors! Euro or Rebop, 4 or 5 string. 9.
Don't worry about Cosmo, he'll get over it - probably by buying a Spector - I think he's pretty close!
I'm so close, but it's still out of reach... Spectors are an addiction. I've owned nine of the things.
10. Oh, and crank the horn on your cab.
11.
How is your Spector GAS getting on, by the way..?
You, sir, are an utter cad!
12. I nearly bought this bass from Mark but decided against as I didn't really like the colour. Your pics are making me regret that decision.
13. If it had a P width neck it would be perfect for me...
14. I'm in the throes of full-on Spector obsession at the moment (again), and posting pictures like that is really not helping.
15. It's quite telling on the DVD that when JPJ plays the Fender Precision the bass really jumps out of the mix.
