1. That's not a Legend - it's an NS2000 Q4. Better than the Legend IMHO, an absolutely killer bass!
 2.

Aaaaarold!! 😊 That's a real dream bass for me, right there. Enjoy your new Spatula bass!
 3. I always found with every Jazz I've owned that almost as soon as you start to turn down a particular pickup, it vanishes from the overall sound leaving the other one dominant. There was a tiny margin of actual blending. So in my case it was either everything on full or neck on it's own.
 4.
It was made in 1991. The name is series 2. Only 380 was made of this modell . It was built with bartolini pickups. The bodyshape is similar to the MVP modell.
Similar to the MVP, just a bit slimmer ☺ GLWTS
 5. Veeeeerry nice... I've seen a few of the two pickup versions but never a single. Let me know if you decide to sell it 😊
 6. Very nice... Not familiar with the body shape though, do you know any more about it?
 7.
While Gibson's bass 2016 production is pretty much zero, a post on another site hinted at Gibson's wholesale dumping of unsold 2015 models into European online sites. Thomann are offering the 2015 Thunderbird (vintage sunburst with the coil toggle switching, EB pickups and Babicz bridge) for £875 and the 2015 SG Standard (chrome hardware/Babicz) is £650. P
There was a similar sale on at DV247 a couple of months ago, but a bit cheaper IIRC... I nabbed a beautiful Les Paul bass for just £649. Sadly it weighed an absolute tonne so I returned it.
 8.
So who's the one who can photoshop a Sea Foam Green, single chrome cover pick up (P position please) TBird or Explorer bass. PLEASE! At last a screensaver to lust at
Not just a chrome cover, but an actual 60s-spec pickup!
 9.
A 'rimshot' is generally described as stick striking rim and skin at the same time.
How do you do that?
 10. That fretboard.... 😍
 11. I would have no idea where to start but bravo for such an excellent website! I've used it many times over the years.
 12.
You wouldn't need to re-tune a 5 string to get the low C as the bottom string is a low B.
It would be a bit of a headache trying to play along to a guitar riffing in drop C if you're tuned a semitone flat.
 13.
Well drop C is such a drop in tuning that I would have to put heavier gauge strings on my stingray, whereas with a fiver I could tune it to CGCFA or something along those lines. Seems to be the same here then, people are recommending Spector basses and the Legend series, but nobody's played one of these neck thru's
I see... A mate of mine used to play a Warwick Thumb tuned up a semitone. It works but can a bit tight. I would go for the 4 string and drop tune - drop-tuned Spectors are utterly brutal!
 14. Annoying demo vid - mentions the amp has two channels then only lets us hear one.
 15. How is a five string going to help with drop C? As for the bass, never played one of these but it's a Spector, it will be superb.
 16. Looks boring as hell to me. Of all the things they could have given us, we get a sunburst PJ... Not even a different finish like those blue Teles. Edit: Not that there's anything wrong with sunburst PJs. It just would have been nice to be offered something a bit different.
 17. Slightly OT but I saw Fish's bassist playing one of these last week - a fretless fiver - and it sounded glorious. Not sure if it was EMG or Bart though.
 18.

Getting into the festive spirit nice and early.
 19. There's the Status Streamline as well - also a one-piece graphite build but without the Buzzard's mid controls. It looks a bit bonkers but sounds excellent, as this vid will show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YSzB8s6TfI
 20.
ahhh I see, so you think a Stealth is more Entwistle than a B2?
I've never played a Stealth but it makes sense.
 21.
With a maple neck, black/black. With rosewood, black/tort.
This. I always think black/black with rosewood can look a nit drab. That said, I have no issue with white/black with rosewood, particularly if the covers are still on.
