    I adore mine, it nails that beautifully twangy/clicky 60s muted bass sound. If you buy new, factor in a set up with some heavier strings, the factory ones are too light to be effective as bass strings. I don't use it in my current band but it's one of my favourite messing around at home basses. It's just such a fun instrument.

    Weight 8.97lb. The bass is in superb condition, especially considering its age, with just a few very light marks to the body edge (see pics, although they look worse than they are under the camera flash). As far as I can see, the wenge neck is spotless. The bass comes with a sturdy hardcase, so I can pack it up for a courier at buyer's cost and arrangement. I'm also happy to meet up somewhere within an hour or so's drive. Pics from the previous seller as they are far better than mine, but the bass is in the exact same condition as I've only had it out of the case a couple of times.

    For the Bass VI? It's all about the range darling. Baritones don't go that low. And, despite the best efforts of most Youtube demos, the VI makes for a fine bass guitar, in the right circumstances (ignore the chap miming).

    Gretsch Electromatic in hard to find red finish. As-new condition, I can't see a mark on it. Recently set up. It's a beautiful instrument but I'm unfortunately a very ham-fisted guitarist so this isn't getting the use it deserves! Comes with Gretsch hardcase. Collection from Dartford - trades considered for a lower cost guitar in comparable condition, e.g Squier.
