  1. A good friend of mine used to play in a metal band who tuned to C standard. He simply tuned up each string a semitone sounded great! Personally I would have told the rest of ths band to just tune to B standard and have done with it.

  3. These are astounding pedals - I can't think of an amp sound or distortion it can't replicate. Sadly I'm a bit of a luddite and prone to option paralysis - once I find a tone I stick with it so this is a bit too much for my needs. Official info: https://www.tech21nyc.com/products/sansamp/psa-2/ Superb condition, velcro on bottom, with original box and paperwork. I've mislaid the Tech 21 adapter but can supply an equivalent replacement. £200 including postage or can arrange collection from Dartford. 4. I hate to use the word but this is one lush chorus - very clean 80s-style tones. Instead of individual controls each button is a preset and you can mix and match as you like. Excellent condition with original box and paperwork. £25 including postage or can arrange collection from Dartford.
  5. That old favourite! I always like having one of these as they're so useful but it's not getting used in my current setup. Superb condition, velcro on bottom, with original box and paperwork. £65 including postage or can arrange collection from Dartford.
  6. . Booster pedal, 2-band EQ, gain control and 3-way voice switch - low boost, natural or mid boost. I'm in two minds about selling it as it's such an effective pedal but sadly I just don't find myself using it in my current setup. Excellent condition, missing one small rubber foot. Comes with original box and paperwork. £45 posted or can arrange collection from Dartford
  7. How deep is the scratch, how deep is the scratch - I really mean to learn... If it were me I'd just leave it. If it were on the body I'd be a bit bothered but it's hardly noticeable, although I'm sure at the moment it's the most noticeable thing in the world to you! Pop it in its case for a couple of days, it'll probably seem a lot better when you take it out again.
  8. This is the ad I remember. There was another one a bit later with (I think) Kid Rock's bass player with one of those 8 strings.
  9. Me too! Lots of magazine ads back in the 90s.
