  1. I started a thread about this pedal last year and we still haven't seen any demos!
  2. I answered "distorted" but it's a bit of a cheat, I use an EBS Billy with an EQ pedal in the distortion loop to cut lows and boost highs for more of a guitar amp sound. The result is a basic bi-amp simulation but works very well for me.
  3. Knocking Nails Into My House - The Idle Race
  4. They're always in the loft aren't they 😄
  5. Morning Dew - Nazareth
  6. I'm in two minds about this - this is the third Starfire I've owned as I regretted selling the others, but I think I need to accept the short scale and skinny neck aren't really working for me! It's a shame as the sound is wonderful. Tonally, add a bit of drive and it's instant Jack Casady/Jefferson Airplane. It can really roar. It's been recently set up with TI flats. The bass is in superb condition, just some very, very minor light marks to the top edge of the headstock and the bottom edge of the body. Hardly noticeable. Original Guild hardcase included. Collection from Dartford preferred, could possibly meet up too if not too far.
  7. Lunch Box - Marilyn Manson
  8. My Pink Half of the Drainpipe - Bonzos
  9. Pictures Of Lily - The 'oo
  10. Dirty Boy - Cardiacs
  11. Not Guilty - George Harrison
  12. Geezer really didn't want to do that bass solo 😄 It is great though, greasy as hell. It's a shame the rest of the song is a Custard Pie ripoff.
  13. There's a brief clip on the Last Supper DVD of Geezer soundchecking this song, his Vigier tone is incredible.
  14. Love Dump - Static-X
  15. Sabotage is my favourite Sabbath album, in fact it's possibly my favourite album ever, but I think Geezer's best work is on the earlier one-take albums with little in the way of overdubs or extravagant production. I'll probably go for Master Of Reality as Geezer's finest hour, the whole album is one long bass solo.
  16. Suite In C Including Turnham Green - McDonald and Giles
  17. 37 Towards Peckham - Jah Wobble
  18. Purple Maize - Jimi H
  19. I haven't played this particular bass but looking at this one the only feature it has comparable to the Thunderbird is a vaguely similar body shape. People complain about the neck dive on ordinary 'birds, this one's going to be off the scale!
  20. Dancing Madly Backwards - Captain Beyond
  21. Smasher Devourer - Fear Factory
  22. Never Satisfied - Judas Priest
  23. Are You Afraid? - Type O Negative
