    For the Bass VI? It's all about the range darling. Baritones don't go that low. And, despite the best efforts of most Youtube demos, the VI makes for a fine bass guitar, in the right circumstances (ignore the chap miming).

    Gretsch Electromatic in hard to find red finish. As-new condition, I can't see a mark on it. Recently set up. It's a beautiful instrument but I'm unfortunately a very ham-fisted guitarist so this isn't getting the use it deserves! Comes with Gretsch hardcase. Collection from Dartford - trades considered for a lower cost guitar in comparable condition, e.g Squier.

    The Tone City Golden Plexi 2 does a killer Marshall tone to my ears, but it doesn't have a Superbass setting so there's going to be some loss of lows. It all depends on the sound you're after - some of my favourite bass tones from back in the day were through guitar amps so if you're after that Move or Ron Wood tone the Golden Plexi works a treat. Particularly with a Tele bass 😁
