  1. Savoy Truffle - Beatles
  2. Ah Ha - Butthole Surfers
  3. I was actually chatting to a mate about this yesterday. In hindsight, The Burning Red is a much better album than its reputation would suggest and, apart from some unfortunate rapping, isn't really a Nu-Metal album at all. It has aged well. Supercharger, however, definitely is 😆
  4. Margate - Chas and Dave
  5. Dangerous - The Who
  6. I thought their version of Whiplash was great!
  7. He should be up there with Entwistle, JPJ, Squire etc. as one of the great British bassists.
  8. Cannibal - Static-X
  9. Do The Freddie - Freddie And The Dreamers
  10. Frankenstein - Edgar Winter
  11. I know. It was just a light-hearted comment.
  12. One of the Roadstar variants?
  13. Eggs Benedict Cumberbatch - Raised By Owls
  14. The performances on Yessongs are amazing too but blimey, it sounds like it was recorded from the venue toilet.
  15. "Not as good as Never Mind The Bollocks" misses the point of the thread somewhat Lozz 😆
  16. Goat - Strapping Young Lad
  17. Dominance and Submission - BÖC
  18. The studio version of I Want You To Want Me is startlingly twee isn't it? For me the absolute pinnacle of the live album is Live At Leeds which is, as was already mentioned, miles beyond their studio output of the time in both production and musicianship. It's a ferocious album. I'd also throw in a mention of Slade Alive, the sound of a band unleashed.
  19. All Dead, All Dead - Queen
  20. Middleman - Terrorvision
