  1. Someone's made a replica of Gene Simmons' legendary lost LoBue bass from the 70s and blimey, who'd have thunk a Mudbucker in bridge position would sound so good?
  2. I'm the opposite - to me it's soulless, glossy, over-produced and empty. Mick sounds amazing thanks to autotune.
  3. Nothing Left - Machine Head
  4. Thought of another one - I adore Jack Bruce but can't get along with Cream... I blame Clapton. Thankfully JB had a magnificent solo career!
  5. Flight of the Ibis - McDonald and Giles
  6. I love Duff McKagan's tone and style, but Guns 'n' Roses... no, no.
  7. Savoy Truffle - Beatles
  8. Ah Ha - Butthole Surfers
  9. I was actually chatting to a mate about this yesterday. In hindsight, The Burning Red is a much better album than its reputation would suggest and, apart from some unfortunate rapping, isn't really a Nu-Metal album at all. It has aged well. Supercharger, however, definitely is 😆
  10. Margate - Chas and Dave
  11. Dangerous - The Who
  12. I thought their version of Whiplash was great!
  13. He should be up there with Entwistle, JPJ, Squire etc. as one of the great British bassists.
  14. Cannibal - Static-X
  15. Do The Freddie - Freddie And The Dreamers
  16. Frankenstein - Edgar Winter
  17. I know. It was just a light-hearted comment.
  18. One of the Roadstar variants?
  19. Eggs Benedict Cumberbatch - Raised By Owls
  20. The performances on Yessongs are amazing too but blimey, it sounds like it was recorded from the venue toilet.
