2.
Hells teeth Mike, I have one and can report that this man should be arrested for selling stuff too cheap Buy it, you won't regret it.
Hello Tom, Long time no speak, hope you are well. Currently getting my P/J kicks from my Bass Collection 310 figured I might as well move the Aero1 on. The way I see it is that the hit I take works out to be the equivalent of rental money and in a short space of time I have "rented" a lot of basses (dont tell the wife)
 3. Price drop to £165, thats right folks £165!!
 4.
Yes, I am looking to purchase one. Do you have any information on how I can get one?
No
 5. Do you by any chance want a Bootsy Collins Star Bass?

 8. Hello
 9. BUMP Managed to get about 15 minutes worth of playing time and for that reason alone it has made me think that I need to be "sensible" and thin out my already thin bass collection. The extra space would be good and I need to focus on playing one bass well rather than 1/2 dozens basses badly!
 10.
Cheers Paul, plays well, cracking bass for the price. Dont be suprised if it comes off sale anyway as I have the day off tomorrow, I will probably pick it up for a couple of hours and decide to keep it!
Bump, on a day off that is busier than a day at work, looking after my eight week old son will do that!
 11.
I have an Aero2 which differs only in it having a set neck and a slightly shorter scale length and mine i a cracking bass. Sorry you're not hanging on to it but good luck with the sale.
Cheers Paul, plays well, cracking bass for the price. 12. Interested in the Jaco Fretless, any interest in trades? ProBass Aero1
 13.
Don't normally like white basses, but that is very pretty, and a good price too.
Cheers silentbob, it is a great looking bass, like a reverse Geddy Lee.

 17.
Glad you got it sorted. flippyfloop had a nice-looking 460 in the for sale forums not so long ago. I have a 5-string SB 465, a fretless SB 330 and an SB 310 strung BEAD. You're welcome to drop in next time you're passing Martlesham Heath for a play and a cup of tea.
Thanks Pete, appreciate it, might just take you up on that offer.
 18.
How much do you think it should have cost? My Kala Baritone uke cost £300. If you think that's excessive, it's a world of difference from a £150 uke.
Having owned and played the Spruce top UBass it didnt feel like an £340 instrument. The Solid Spruce top UBass cost £340, cannot find the price for a Baritone but a Kala Solid Spruce Top Tenor can be brought for £180. I appreciate we are not comparing like with like and the requirements for a Electro-Acoustic Bass will be different from a Electro-Acoustic Ukulele. It just seems to me that they have added a "novelty factor" premium to the UBass, the lack of any viable competitor would suggest that the can charge what they want.
 19. I purchased one several months back now, but ended up selling it on again via BassChat. I really liked the sound, but couldnt really reconcile the cost. When you think that the UBass is based on a Baritone shape Ukulele the cost seems excessive for rubber strings and different sized tuners. I would have thought now Kala and ashbory have shown the way that other manufacturers would have moved into this area.
 20. I am selling this cracking little bass that I bought from Paul back in April of this year. I bought it for sneaky in-car (it is that small) lunchtime practice sessions at work, however I am now car sharing and not using the bass anywhere near enough so I want to move it on. I hope Paul doesnt mind but the original listing is here Apart from two issues (of my making) the bass is in cracking condition, firstly one of the frets has lifted slightly at one end, I have included pictures, doesnt affect playability. There is also a minute hole little larger than a pin prick, in the top of the right shoulder of the bass as you look at it from the front, but this is barely noticeable. Allowing for the fret issue, I am putting the bass up for £150 with free delivery, payment via Bank Transfer. Any questions let me know. Thanks
 21.
Hurrah! What do you think of it now? I must say that on both mine I found that the treble control mainly just added hiss. But I still love these basses.
I love the size and weight of the bass, it’s very easy to play, just find the active preamp a bit underwhelming. I think I will keep an eye on any Bass Collection basses coming up on eBay, I would love to try some of the others in the range. Mine is not too badly affected with unwanted noise, one of the previous owners of the bass has shielded the electronics with kit-kat foil at some point.
 22.
It might be the reason why the seller wanted to move it on! Soldering that wire back on isn't a big deal - you're in Ipswich? I'm happy to pop round with my soldering iron if you want some help. I ended up replacing the electronics on my 465 with one of the Artec pre-amps. That made a big difference.
Hello Pete, I am in Ipswich, just off Cauldwell Hall Road. Thanks for the offer, very much appreciated, but took the bass into work yesterday and managed to get the repair done at lunchtime. Knowledge of electronics and using a soldering iron is definately something I need to work on.
 23.
I think the active'ness' is the weakest part of these otherwise great basses. If there's a fresh battery, you can hear the EQ working and it's not distorted, then it's probably working fine. It's just not very good! May be worth checking for adjustable pots inside the electronics cavity (one of mine had that) which you could note the position of then try tweaking, see what they do.
May have found the problem, took the back plate off and could see that the positive cable connecting the battery to the socket jack had come away at the socket jack, perhaps a dry joint on the solder? This was an eBay purchase, and the guitar had not been packaged well at all, wonder if this could have caused the problem? My only dilemma is wether to return the bass or keep it and begin my guitar electrics education.
 24. I recently purchased the above bass, but have found the active’ness’ to be a bit ‘meh’. I am sure this is a Noddy question , but Is there a good way to check the state of the electrics on an active bass?
