  1. Need to get a working device due to up and coming project. It definitely seems that my system (mboard I think) is the issue - works great on my Mac and other windows users have commented on the stability of the unit... Offers are welcome bump!
  2. Bump back up... Seems it is my set up after all! Upgrade to cubase 10 did not fix it and tried it on a friend's pc with cubase 10.... Absolutely fine! Oh well! I need a working device! Anyone fancy a bash?? Will do it for £120 delivered....
  3. Bumping... Turns out it isn't my motherboard! Looks like it cubase! Other daws seem fine, even earlier versions of cubase are ok! An upgrade is in order! Still available though if anyone is interested...
  4. Focusrite Forte USB sound device. 2 in 4 out with breakout cable. Can run on USB power or with psu (included) if you want phantom power. Immaculate and boxed with accessories as new. Only selling due to a lack of compatibility with my motherboard on my pc. Solid as a rock with my MacBook but all my DAW work is on my pc now so I need a working device. I have researched the issue thoroughly and it seems to be an issue with my motherboard. Tried it on a friend's pc, fine - mine intermittent crashes even with a different driver. Oh well... It pains me to sell it as it is a lovely bit of kit and looks the part as well with the main jog wheel all encased is brushed metal finish. I can't guarantee it will be ok on your PC, Macs it will be fine but I couldn't find any reported issues pc wise - only seems to be my combination of parts causing issues. Cost me £250 new (can provide original receipt) £130 delivered seems fair. Trades for an alternative USB device will be considered. Will post pics showing it working shortly. Carl.

Vilem just bought my SR5 (he seems to like them!) - a lovely chap and easy transaction. Don't be hesitant in dealing with him!
  6. Hi all - selling my Musicman StingRay5 in natural ash finish with rosewood board. A great bass and my 5th SR5 - i keep going back and when I got this one, I said - this one is staying! However, I have seen a SR5 classic in natural finish which I simply have to own if I can so this one will have to go to fund it. If I don't sell, I won't be too upset as this is my goto bass but if I can sell, I will only be selling if I can get this SR5 classic. Anyway, serial number dates the bass around 2003/2004 and it is a great player. The person who owned it before me hardly played it and it shows. I has one minor ding which is only a mark in the lacquer on the chamfered edge and a tiny bit of tarnishing on the pick up pole pieces but I normally sort this with a bit of emery cloth. It's a real players bass, typical stingray sound and feel and about 9lbs on the bathroom scales. Comes with the musicman hardcase in which I can ship it in (will go halves on postage costs) and it comes with a rather funky pearl scratchplate as well as the original black one as well. I will put some new strings on for the new owner so it will be nice and fresh! The GruvGear case in the pics is not included. Price - I need a grand. Firm. Simple as that. I will have to find a few hundred on top for the classic so can't budge on the price. This also seems to be inline with prices on here. Collection from the East coast - or could meet within a reasonable distance if that helps.
  7. Rolls MS20 Passive Mic Splitter in good condition. Works great, one XLR in, 2 out. Simples. Postage should be no more than £3.
  8. Thing is, most photography bags are crazy expensive... That's why the Amazon basics one are good, great value and I like the separate sections... Loads of options!!
  9. Well, I got the gigblade sliver... This is a lot more streamlined than the gigblade 2 and storage isn't anywhere near as plentiful... I can fit it a couple of leads, strap plus a few little bits, although the bass is well protected and feels really snug. I like the side carry and use that option all the time. It feels like a very well made bit of kit, and I feel confident it will last. I wanted a streamlined gigbag and it was either this or the mono sleeve. I didn't get a chance to look at a sleeve but don't regret my choice. I don't think either is full of storage but I have a rucksack for the extra bits... By the way, Amazon basics photography backpacks are great for this and only cost £20-£30!! I'm sure there are cheaper options but I had the cash and wanted something plush and I got that with the gigblade...😊
  10. Just bought a MARUSZCZYK from Rory. Bass is lovely and exactly as described. Well packed and delivery was very quick. Recommended to all!

Nick bought my Sandberg from me - top bloke all round - fast payment, good comms - well recommended as a BC'er!
  12. I would like one of these... If someone also just wants one I will pay the postage for one of them..
  13. Don't worry! Just seen it on your profile... Too far for me... 😡
  14. I have taken a punt based on reviews on the GruvGear Gigblade Sliver... looks to be a slimline version of the GigBlade 2 and it can't be all that bad! Pricey, but I wanted something good around a ton so I am hoping this fits the bill! Will feedback when it arrives... thanks all for the comments - very much appreciated.
  15. Are Ritter bags still any good? I see Thomann still do them...
  16. Yeah, they do look like great bags but I think I am hoping to get something a bit more streamlined... this is why I was looking at the mono sleeve. Some mentioned to me the GruvGear sliver... slightly scaled down version of the gigblade 2... still unsure really! Choices look like: Bass sleeve (although not much space for additional items...) GruvGear Sliver - i like this as it has a long pocket for a strap... Gator ProGo - can't go too far wrong with Gator! TGI extreme - cheaper end but still very good? Any other recommendations?
  17. Hi all, looking for some recommendations on gig bags. My MM SR5 likes its hard case but I like something easier to carry. It's been in a cheap gig bag for a while but it is now time to treat it to a nice new plush home. I was looking at the Mono bass sleeve, but is it really worth £120? I quite like the gator progo which is a bit cheaper, otherwise I don't know where else to look. Music shops near me only have cheap ones and online you can only guage so much. So BC'ers... what do you have and what do you think?
  18. Lowestoft, on the east coast. I can meet someway if that makes things easier...
