1. Gator GK 2110 Keyboard/Pedal board Gigbag As new and barely used - £15 posted. Save a few beer vouchers on a new one!
2.
Get in touch with Alan at Synergy http://www.synergydi...k/Sandberg.html He does Phil Jones and Sandberg in the UK and he could not have been any more helpful when I had issues with my amp. Can't recommend him enough!
Will do!
3.
Why not message Sandberg directly? Their support is great.
I couldn't find anywhere to contact Sandberg on their website - am I missing something?
4. Hi all - I have a Sandberg California and the standard precision type tuners... I have an issues with some minor missing bits and bobs in there which is causing minor issues with the tuning. Can anyone offer some assistance? The main crew which holds the tuner cog in place is fine, but there is a screw and 2 washers which hold the tuning peg (the bit you turn) in place nice and firmly when tuned. For some reason, some of them are missing and I need to replace them. The screw isn't the problem - it is an M3 or M4 I think and I can get something from B&Q or eBay if I know the thread pitch, the problem is the washer. It has a round washer with a hole which is squared off and a small round plastic washer. I have attached images! One shows the screw in place, one shows it removed with the washer exposed and I have removed them to show the parts. I have no idea what to look for online or where to start looking (a couple of guitar parts places gave me nothing) and I can only think to contact a Sandberg dealer but I reckon they will say - "nah - replace the tuners"! A good idea but an unnecessary expenditure for a few measly screws... especially when the work fine! Anyone else had a similar issues or can throw some assistance I would be grateful!
5. I know this would normally go in the wanted ads, but I wondered how many DBers read them! I am after a bow quiver which would only be used sporadically so I don't really want to spend silly money on a new one... anyone got an old one they want rid off or want to sell?? Don't mind splashing a bit of cash...
6. Gonna hit this back to the top - I'm £71 away from hitting 50% of my fundraising target - any massively generous basschatters fancy helping out to help me get halfway? Go on...
7. Gonna bump this to see if there is any other kind folk who fancy dishing out a bit of cash to a worthwhile charity... Anyone else?? Would be very muh appreciated!
8. That's another fair point... there isn't a win really. Catch 22!
9. Much appreciated to you both! I'm beginning to think what the hell have I let myself in for but am committed now! Thanks chaps!
10. A point to consider for all in these situations when dealing with 'newbies'... another forum I use, most people tend to have a 'send first - pay later' rule or a 'half up front' when dealing with people who have not been on the forum very long. If you have an extensive feedback trail with a long history on the forum of positive transactions, I would have thought that this wouldn't be too much of an issue for newbies to get their head around. Clearly this is up to the individual situation, and I can't imagine anyone sending a Fodera in the hope that someone will pay for it on arrival but it would probably be something to consider for lower cost transactions with maybe the half up-front idea for most costly items. Just my 2-penneth worth I suppose. I will also add that I have also never had any issues trading on the forum and generally, I find most BC'ers are lovely chappies! Lots of them have sponsored me for my London Marathon run in April (shameless plug - see this forum) and they have never met me. Top bunch of geezers!
11. er.... if i knew it I would give it a go! In all honesty it is going to be hard enough carrying myself round 26 miles never mind a bass!
12. Thanks for all the amazing donations to date - some extremely generous people out there! Anyone else?? It's for an incredibly good cause! Whatever you can spare would be gratefully received!
13. I would have added Marmite... but you either love it or hate it! Seriously Ped, I'm pretty sure that 99.9% of BCers appreciate everything you guys do - my day wouldn't be complete without a quick browse! Keep up the excellent work.
14. Mateusz... I'm contacting him via email to see if I can get some sort of contact information... I'm indicating that I'm interested in buying but want to try it out first... If I get anything I will let you know. Carl

19.
+1 because international money transfers are way too heavy on fees
Hi guys, Thanks for your generousity in advance. It does seem that the PayPal link is not working on mobile devices for some reason... it's a PayPal thing I think - I just tried the link on my PC and it works fine... can you get to a pc to donate?? If not... I know it's not the best option, but you can PayPal gift me the money and I will add it to the site in your name... my PayPal email is [email protected] If u would like to use that option. Sorry for the issue - out of my control I'm afraid... Regards, Carl.
20.
I'm in - Good luck Carl. Presumably you're running dressed as a bass guitar??
I don't think Macmillan would go for it but I reckon it would raise a few eyebrows!! Thanks for the donation!!
21.
Paypal didn't work, donation by card payment worked fine. Good luck with the race Carl. You'll do well.
