    Hi all... need to raise a bit of cash so am putting up my EBS amp and cab for trade. I need a small-ish and relatively lightweight combo to use for gigs - open to offers on this front but do need to rake in some cash on the deal... let me know and hit me up with any offers... Now have a combo in trade for the cab so the Reidmar is up for Sale - looks new and comes boxed. Anyone fancy this little beast?? Very loud 250 watts, never get it past 30% volume, classic EBS clean sound. £265 including delivery in the UK? Anyone? NOW £250 DELIVERED!!! EBS Neo 2 x 10 cab - VGC and perfect working order. A few scuffs on the corners and the knob for the tweeter control is missing but otherwise - sounds amazing! EBS Reidmar head - EBS's mini-head - 250watts when used with this cab at 4 ohms. Immaculate condition and boxed - bought originally from Bass Direct. I will throw in a decent laptop bag and speakon cable. I will add some pics but can't until Wednesday as the gear is at my regular gig!

    just had a look at the john east retro deluxe... hmmmm.... active passive switching, swept mid range control, passive tone for those vintage moments... just wish I could try one first!

    I think you could be right Pete... maybe I have just got use to the mids a bit too much! Need to get used to the alternative sound of the jazz... the pre in the bass does have a variety of sounds, but maybe I need a 3 band eq rather then 2. Anyone have a 3 band eq in their Jazz? recommendations?

    hi everyone... just need a few opinions on some possible jazz pup replacements... I have acquired a Sandberg 5 string jazz bass which I am really enjoying playing - tone wise - it sounds like a jazz bass with a little bit of oomph from the active electronics but still sounds like a jazzbass on steroids. I do a range of gigs and need versatile work horses -theatre, jazz gigs etc. so I am loving that part, but I was hoping that the sound was a bit more varied. Does anyone have any recommendations if I was to replace the pups and circuitry to make it more versatile? I think it has the Delano jazz pups and the standard Sandberg electronics. Barts? EMG? John East? Really need as much variety as possible (had a MM SR5 for many years) - or am I aiming for the impossible? Cheers for ay input!

    I have a musician stingray 5 I could be interested in a straight trade?? In dark green see through with rosewood neck... With the hard case. Can send you a pic if u like... It has a SD baseline pup in at the mo but I still have the original... It gave it a bit more bite... Not the best pic but will give u an idea...

    I really need some new strings for my DB, but I'm a bit of a novice (in replacing strings, not in playing! ) Anyway... I have never played gut strings on a DB. I mostly play pizz stuff, but the bow does come out very occasionally. Are these strings not suitable for a bow? How do they fit in a jazz setting? Thanks for any info / insight you can offer... Carl

    Behringer UB502 5 channel mixer. In VGC and working order - one issue, the power LED doesn't come on when the unit is on... works fine otherwise! Plugged in a bass and all works as it should... Besides... £15 delivered!!! BARGAIN!

    Rode NT1a mic pack with mic and bag, cradle with integrated pop shield and 6ft cable. This is brand new and never been used - you will see that by the items!
