Always thought that the Aria SB bridge was a great design.

An Epiphone version of the Ripper would be great (though an original would be even greater!). Some free cash to buy stuff would be a good start though.

There's nothing worse than seeing a "critically acclaimed" singer / songwriter / band, where the music plays second fiddle to the vocal performance. One of the worst offenders of this though was the "Shred" era, where the "song" was "written" around a fiddly, widdly, noodle-fest of a solo, usually following a scale. -

Maybe look for 115 or 120 bottom strings, but you will need to have the existing nut looked at for them (maybe take the chance to get the bass set up in a shop?). Or get the DR DDT's.
