  1. Didn't @stewblack get someone to custom build a multi-fx pedal a while ago? EDIT: Found it - Lunar Cluster Surely, something like the Tech21 Bass Fly Rig v2 or the Valeton Dapper Bass would be a great reference point. Personally, I really can't fault the Pod Go. Yes it's limited. No, I'm not using all of it's capabilities. Sounds great though.
  2. I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up.
  3. IIRC, I had loads of trouble registering on the Line6 Ideascale page. And to be fair, any ideas that are not hi-gain boutique guitar amps don't really get many responses.
  4. Fretmeister coined the term... "Tonehenge"
  5. Saw the Rush footage from the LA Concert, and noticed the Ashdown cabs onstage. Assume that they're there because Nate Mendel endorses them. Also assume that they were CTM 300's. Didn't Mark King have a signature Ashdown head a while back?
  6. Never used a valve bass head, but I owned & used a number of guitar valve amps over the years. As BassmanPaul said, turn it off, move it off stage, load it into the car when you're ready to go. They really aren't as fragile as you might think.
  7. Got you, in that case, it's a stunning bit of kit. Congrats.

  9. Apart from the tie-up with Tanglewood, AFAIK, all Overwater basses are made in the UK. You could always email them and ask for some details on your new bass.

  11. Bought an Alesis Nitro Mesh kit for my son a few years ago, he loves it, but like everyone's said, they're still not quiet, especially the kick/bass drum. There's a USB plug on the back, as well as a mini jack socket to plug in an audio source (like a phone) to play along with songs. There was a link to an online drum teaching website Melodics which looked quite good, and had a fair few resources. It was free to sign up, and I think that it had a free membership period for Alesis kit owners, then reverts to a subscription. You'd have to investigate that, as my son didn't show any interest in it, he just wanted to play along to songs on his phone. A good set of headphones is a good idea as well.
