  4. Surely, if it's a brand new instrument purchased from a reputable seller, you have the right to return defective products for either a replacement instrument or your money back. It is your legal right to do so after all.
  5. So long as you pair it with a bass cab of the correct impedance, then I can't see a problem. Used to have a 1224mkII, superb sounding amps.
  6. Jack of Shadows - Hawkwind
  7. Back to Life - Soul II Soul
  8. I installed a set of the Gemini Pickups WaveRider's in the walnut Faker (see avatar). Sound great to my ears, and seriously considering putting a set in my 4003.
  9. Love those big box EHX pedals.
  10. Pearls Before Swine - Deviated Instinct
  11. Too busy larking about

  18. Another Ashdown owner recommending Roqsolid. I got the cheapest, unlined cover for my amp. Does the job.
  19. Roundaout - Yes
  20. Seen a couple of episodes, and it's quite refreshing and actually funny.
  21. I remember this thread! The AMP is still going strong, as is the HD500x (might have played with settings and the like over the years, but it still sounds great). Plug the HD into the Effects Return, and bypass the amp's pre-amp. Do not regret going for a bog standard bass combo in any way over an FRFR, as I know it definitely can handle the bass frequencies, and has more than enough power for any rehearsal / gig situation (it's been gigged a number of times).
  22. Have you heard Cog yet? Not quite as "heavy" as Karnivool et al, but a rather good band, well worth a listen. Another Aussie band.
