    Used the Electro Harmonix Pedal Bag many years ago, brilliant idea. Really light but sturdy, the top zipped off, and enough room for a power supply. Relatively cheap too. They still retail at around £30.

    I suppose a lot will depend on your budget, and what you want from an amp. Fender Rumble 500 Ashdown MAG C210 300 (PMT) / Ashdown OriginAL C210 300 / Ashdown RM C210 500 Ampeg BA210 or the new Rocket 500 Blackstar Unity 500 GK MB500 etc., etc.

    From what I've read, they're an iron & cobalt alloy, so I would assume that they would more be prone to rust rather than any steel based string (especially stainless steels).
